There are lots of “green shoots” in today’s tape.

The fact of the matter is, we are in the midst of a technology revolution: fuck what Cramer is saying. I was first to mention the 4g/smartphone bonanza.
Just a reminder, you don’t want to chase the smartphone plays up here. Stocks like Starent Networks Corp. (STAR: 0.00 0.00%) , Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (CY: 12.42 +0.57%) , TriQuint Semiconductor (TQNT: 6.91 +0.58%) and Apple Inc. (AAPL: 223.75 -0.04%) are great; but stretched like a donkey on a crucifix. Wait for a pullback in such said names, as the Cramer crowd gets poleaxed into oblivion. With my money, I rather buy the commodity pullback. You can short cut the whole process of finding the right name, by buying (ERX: 39.85 +0.63%) . In my opinion, while in the $20’s, it’s a fucking steal.
This is my focus, in a nutshell:
Overweight GLW, OmniVision Technologies, Inc. (OVTI: 15.67 +0.77%) and (ERX: 39.85 +0.63%) . Buy dips in GameStop Corp. (GME: 19.27 -0.67%) , Arena Resources, Inc. (ARD: 32.85 +0.06%) , Ciena Corporation (CIEN: 15.90 +0.95%) and ALU . Play lotto via (ENTR: 4.60 -0.43%) , Flotek Industries, Inc. (FTK: 1.3881 +1.32%) and Umpqua Holdings Corporation (UMPQ: 13.02 0.00%) . And, simultaneously, I will try to keep a 10% cash position, in order to hedge my longs, if needed.
UPDATE: Almost forgot, buy (UNG: 7.91 -0.88%) into hurricane season.

don’t buy the POT dip. I know most of my tips on this site and the PPT are about what NOT to buy (but I’m developing a good real buy list right now). but read the report recently posted. the whole sector is slipping for a while due to prices slipping. it all depends on what price the Chinamen negotiate long term contracts for. this is not the dip you are looking for.
in general re: adding to positions. when something is down (eg. GSI fuck you), don’t buy more of it. buy the better stock in the sector that you should’ve bought and diversify the sector re-up (if its going to happen). my 2c
