We continue talking about how nice it is to have a pension like that when he rolls out the bomb — his wife is an ex-NYC public school administrator with 25 years in. She’s retired now too.
Her pension? $85,000/per annum.

Hard to stay with a company that has a secondary near its all time low. The fall from grace has been swift like the market, but unlike the market there has been little rebound. To top it off, the company is unprofitable and their current quarter growth estimate is -100%, while they missed last quarter and two quarters before that. Seems to me that they waited through this market bounce as long as they could to offer, but could not wait any longer. Far as I can tell, there have been 8 inside sells over the last 8 months and no inside buys. More troubling is that all of this has come while crude has surged. Deteriorating net income, sorry return on equity, etc. Ouch. Down 8% – feel lucky and run baby!
