Gentlemen, I always attempt to exemplify modesty, but today.. wow! I netted my biggest daily gain ever! I shorted SKF in four blocks: 168, 180, 173, 178. Wow. I’m speechless.
I used the Vix to sniff out my second 10% relief rally on the Dow this month! Hat tip to IShortYouNot, since I honestly felt like we were the only ones confidently bullish heading into Tuesday.
Hat tip to the PPT for the screen on the ETFs and the recs to buy health care. I also used the PPT’s “technical score” as a contrarian indicator since the Vix was trading at extreme levels. I guess there’s many ways to use the PPT. I went long HK which had a rare rating of “strong sell” with a PPT-technical score of 1.85 (ouch!). Anyway, look at HK’s chart at the close… that was me 😉
I’m merging the IBD100 with the PPT on my tab for those interested.

Tip of the hat to you my friend, it played a strong role on Monday when I bought AAPL and… shorted SKF. Perhaps, had I not already had -SKF in my account at the start of today I may not have shorted any more at all – what a shame that would have been.
