Russia’s will be forced to make a military response if the U.S.-Czech missile defense agreement is ratified, the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.
If the agreement is ratified, “we will be forced to react not with diplomatic, but with military-technical methods,” the Foreign Ministry statement said. It did not give specifics of what the response would entail.

Fed is merely blowing bubbles again today. If oil were going down for any length of time you can bet the market would be up 300 points by now. Real data shows a dwindling supply of crude far out into the future and demand ratcheting up.
This president did not give a crap about fuel standards or have any kind of energy plan. It’ll take at least 10 years to significantly dent U.S. demand. A million barrels a day will not cut it. And so we’ve only cut demand around 400,000 barrels.
That said — a lot of these oil stocks were severely overpriced and deserve a shellacking.

I think this news suggests that they are simply going to re-aim their defenses @ the missile shield sites – not take actual military action. Agreed on the effect of the news though… The fear dial was low for a minute.

John Hussman says he wouldn’t be surprised to see oil under $60 early next year. But to get there, he’s forecasting very weak global economic activity.
Maybe the market agrees with him, and that’s why stocks are basically giving the middle finger to declining oil prices.
