I read both books many years ago. There was a guy named Gil Blake in the Market Wizards book who did what I was doing in the ’80s concerning mutual fund trading. It was so easy then. Eventually (took them years) I got kicked out of Franklin,GT Global and Scudder for excessive trading.
Market Wizards is a great book everyone here should read dawg

Market Wizards was a great book. I once tried to research on Google all of the traders mentioned in the book, sort of a “Where Are They Now?” follow up. Some of the traders I could not find mentioned anywhere. One has a small website where you can sign up for his newsletter for a monthly subscription fee.

If you haven’t done so, you need to go down to the local video store and check out “Fast Food Nation”. You will swear off of consuming MCD products. At least I did, a number of years ago.
Burger King is egregious, so is Taco Bender Bell (non-racistly put). But the worst offender is Arby’s, which pushes the FDA’s tolerance for fecal matter. That’s right, you’re eating shit, and it’s tolerated to a point.

I have had a target of $863 for quite some time now, and had good success with DZZ. But I do not see how this Iranian event can cause Gold to go down. Surely a war with Iraq takes it up, and the dollar down.
