Anyway, I’ve been trying to get information on what MVIS will show during CES, but its been hard. For some reason, in recent months, the casual chatter that once floated around is gone. Perhaps a sign the company is maturing and means business?
I hope so.
At any rate, all I get (from my sources) is the usual “you’re gonna be happy” reassurances.

I’m sure it’s just a tech demo… but if they don’t get a sleaker design on that stand-alone projector… I don’t care if it projects a 32″ picture… they will not sell. Today’s consumer doesn’t want function, they want form… just look at the iPhone. It is sleak as hell, yet doesn’t do much of anything. It won’t even record video

It is taking too long for MVIS to get its act together. I am taking out the Bell & Howell projector (that my Dad had in the ’60s) to use during the holidays. I just have to find some projector film for the Bell & Howell camera.

while you’re busy debating the projector… it’s actually the auto HUD that’s ready to go and will be the most immediate money maker. look for some for of that to be released in conjunction with CES. All signs pointing to HUD nearing implementation…
