I watched a film last night that reminded me of the fly and all his followers. Idiocracy. The Fly being the star of the movie and the smartest man in the world. Which in todays world is average(just look at his trades) Of course mdawz would be his lawyer, Brawndo would be his overhyped Monster energy drink and all the rest of the people would be his readers. The movie revolves around the fly looking for his time masheen. I could go on but why.

BIDZ (Nasdaq) debuts on the IBD100 list at #2 + article in 11/19 IBD paper
Looks like the BIDZ stockholders might have a very nice upcoming week. It finally made its first-ever appearance (after the market close on Friday) on the much-followed Investor’s Business Daily top 100 companies list at #2 (BIDU being listed as #1, DRYS as #3 and ISRG as #4).
And in addition to this, IBD’s Monday’s (November 19) upcoming edition of the newspaper has a whole article/profile on BIDZ on page A6 under the “IBD New America columnâ€. Here is a free-link to it:

The main reason FLY gets a ton of traffic is because of the link from TraderMike. I’ve never seen a link to the old site regarding something worth looking at. I guess if you want to look at random trades posted during the day followed by some swearing, then the site was a big hit.
After looking at the new site, I actually think the posts on this new site have some good content already coming from the peanut gallery, where some actual analysis is taking place, (ie. the post and COMMENTS about CFC were good)
PS. New Equity lives in a FEMA trailer Park in Alabama and is gay.
(I substituted Rajin Cajuns name for New Equity b/c this NEW equity guy has become real annoying and Rajin Cajun has gained respect)

1. I despise my readers and have been trying to get rid of them for a year now. They keep following me.
2. Ads on websites are for people who feel they are worth something. You Sir are meaningless.

By the way, “The Fly” has enjoyed 11 straight months of traffic growth, currently pulling in more than 18,000 page views per day– all thanks to Trade Mike of course.

This whole “joke” has gotten a little out of hand. I was just fucking around… I’m not trying to “beat” the Fly (whose blogging skills are unsurpassed) nor do I care much about pulling traffic to my site via the comment section here. I comment here to have fun, because there are some funny people here and overall, there’s a great community.
I was simply making a joke about “unionizing” the peanut gallery and “melting” this blog. Some people got it, some did not. What can I say, I had nothing much to do this weekend.
Everyone should take a breath and take care not to pull their backs out when lifting the frozen turkeys from the freezers this week.

I can see why you get a lot of traffic.
“THE FLY” has a lot of people that are jealous about the amount of traffic he gets for the quality of the content he posts and the juvenile vocabulary he uses regularly. I see many of the comments posted have little to do with the posts made. Many of the comments are retaliation comments, such as the one I am performing right now. Sometimes I wonder if the follow up comments are by THE FLY having a conversation with himself because the language and writing style looks the same in many cases.(or just many wanabe FLY’s).
The fact of the matter is, THE FLY depends on third tier blogs. He cannot deny this. If THE FLY didn’t get linked by the large population of THIRD TIER blogs, than traffic would suffer.
Who knows if the FLY really trades, it could all be made up. I looked at THE FLY buys for the last couple days and he supposedly owns over 250k being LONG different stocks(averaging in on some trade over a 6 dollar range on VMW). I see no analysis for his buys or sells, no technical bias, no fundamental bias, no charts, only buys and sells with swearing. Most posts are just short statements saying I bought 1000 XYZ, if you buy XYZ your pubic hairs will be punched off and you may lose money”. The point of the disclaimers is to make sure the FLY isn’t sued??? or just another way to “look cool” by adding in some swearing? The FLY is making good money from ADS on his site, and he knows that to boost traffic he needs to spread the word and to continue to make dumb statements and piss off as many people as possible in the comments section. Why not, he owns this site and the dumb people that make comments are pikers anyways. All the FLY cares about is traffic. The FLY probably spends most of his day working on this blog and watching for comments like mine, considering it took him only 25min to reply to my last post. Will we see the FLY in the next Traders 30 under 30 or featured as a professional stock trader in technical analysis of S&C? Who knows. We don’t even know if the FLY really trades because he has never shown proof of an actual trade via a trade log, shown his portfolio holdings, or ever shown a P/L statement, unlike many of the third tier blogs that he depends on for linking to boost site traffic.
Good luck with your new blog FLY! I’m sure it will be a huge success with the likes of “Elite Traders”!

One does not get hits on links. One gets hits by providing readable content that is unique.
As for the other stuff, I have talked about what I do, many times, on my old blog. I really could care less what you think.
However, I will say, technical analysis is a wonderful way to combine both laziness and ignorance.
