I think the Fly is talking about the huge increase in institutional holdings on MVIS from Q2 to Q3.
In Q2, there were 3 inst. holders, while Q3 had 60. 6 sold out, but that still leaves 54. 7.5mil shares were added into holdings (either new or increased positions), for a total of 10+ million.
I’d say that’s a nice increase in interest in MVIS. Perhaps it’s time for me to look at them as well.
Disclaimer: I found this ownership data on Nasdaq.com. Then I looked at MSN Moneycentral & Yahoo! and they had wildly different numbers. I trust Nasdaq. I wouldn’t trust my number reading abilities though.
