Rick Santorum is Going to Make Internet Porn Illegal

Rick Santorum wants to put an end to the distribution of pornography in the United States.

“America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography,” Santorum’s official website reads. “Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.”

The former Pennsylvania senator states that, “as a parent, I am concerned about the widespread distribution of illegal obscene pornography and its profound effects on our culture.”

Santorum criticized the Obama administration for turning “a blind eye … to the scourge of pornography” and for refusing to enforce obscenity laws.

“If elected President, I will appoint an Attorney General who will do so,” Santorum writes. “While the Obama Department of Justice seems to favor pornographers over children and families, that will change under a Santorum Administration.”

Just like the other biblical scholars from the past. The skeletons in his closet will soon kick down the door and Mitt will get the chance to loose the election all by himself.

No, I don’t think so. I think he’s the old fashioned kind of prig… a sincere one.

But jeez, can you imagine talking about this schist now, when the economy is in tailspin and gas is pushing $4 a gallon nationwide?

This guy could phuck up a wet dream (pun incredibly intended).

This just goes to show that very few, if any, of the congress actually understand how the internet works. You can’t “ban” content. Once it is on the internet it is there forever. People will distribute it, access it, as long as there is a demand. All you can do is waste a ton of time and money locking non-violent criminals up, like the war on drugs.

TJWP, it’s more like the war on Internet gaming then the war on drugs… Except with boobies.

Drug dealers fund gangs or are gang members themselves and are very violent. Drug users themselves are more prone to violent behaviors and criminal records aside from drugs themselves. You honestly think drug users and dealers aren’t violent?

You think crackheads won’t rob a liquor store at gunpoint to get their fix?

Drugs are illegal so the price is much higher and so the CIA can make money off the books to fund black ops style projects, then the competitor dealers can get arrested and have their drugs confiscated to,create scarcity and give them a monopoly.
