          Regarding the phrase ‘do the ends justify the means,’ “end” does not refer to a time point, it simply means a goal. There is an “end” in this case, which the iranian makes clear. How do you claim that there is no end, or goal, involved?

          Asking the question do the ends justify the means, always implies that the end is worthwhile but questions whether the means is the appropriate or justified way of approaching it. Which is why I don’t understand his comment. (or yours).

    Lol I love how “some believe” that Ali Khamenei may be the last imam.

    I think they are misreading our reluctance to attack. If they did pull a stunt like this, iranians wouldn’t live to see the sun set.
