Actually it was a reference to the settlers and settlement activities, strictly for “self-defence” of course, that inflame the whole region against Israel. This of course, leaves out the fact that an air strike would not disable Iran’s nuclear ambitions and also be akin to setting a spark to dry grass.
In addition, pre-emptive strikes are not self-defence. Simply aggression. I suppose that irony escapes you, but that is to be expected.

So you blame the victims. The entire middle east is full of racist pieces of garbage who “got inflamed” because Jews showed up buying land there and making infrastructure. That is what started all of this. It doesn’t matter where the settlements are located. There were no 1967-borders to complain about in 1948… or did that escape you?
You should know that the majority of Israel is rightwing. When “leftwing” is defined by and surrendering land, funds, and weapons, to terrorists, it doesn’t really take much to be a rightwinger. Look at the polls. Likud is sky high. Most of the public is traditional and nationalist, NOT Peace-Now ideologues who make up a tiny miniscule minority. Stop blaming your untermenschen “settlers.” Get acquainted with the fact that Israelis don’t think the way you want them to, you a-hole.
I should also mention, no where did I claim they were bombing Iran over ideology, simply that they were extremists.
However it is ironic that you could find an ideological reason too, in that Israel thinks it is entitled to develop, have, and should it feel the need to, use nuclear weapons but that right does not extend to other countries. Somewhat ironic.

If country A promises country B, that country A will nuke country B and wipe them out as soon as country A develops nuclear weapons, only a complete moron running country B would ALLOW country A to acquire nuclear weapons. The fact that you think the Israeli regime is extremist is totally insane. They are extremely close to Kadima whom the american leftists and CNN love so dearly. In terms of policy Bibi has very little differences from Livni or Olmert before him. He is PERCEIVED as rightwing because he talks tough, so a large section of the public supports him and likes him for his patriot-talk. But he really is not different at all. Look at his policies vis a vis Abbas. No difference whatsoever from his predecessors.
So, do you feel that ANY Israeli regime (no matter what party) is naturally extremist by virtue of its leading that particular country? I’d like to know your answer to that question. Btw, Israel never lobbied for any “right” to develop a nuclear weapon. It had the wherewithal to get a nuke program together and it did it, no matter who liked it or who didn’t. Because God knows that if they asked permission people like you would obviously say “OH GOSH NO, PLEASE DON’T GO NUCLEAR, PLEASE LET THEM TRAMPLE YOU INSTEAD.”
But who the f are you to say one way or the other? Israel has no intention of nuking you. Iran however does have the intention of nuking Israel. So Israel should assert itself and do what it can to face down a threat. What kind of coward would expect them to do differently?
Those nukes helped serve as a deterrant against multiple countries who used to openly say they would commit genocide against Israel on a daily basis (and later on invaded and attempted to do so physically). For instance, the Egyptian dictator Nasser used to broadcast to the Israeli radio that Egypt was coming to wipe them out. Did you know that? Arabs were a lot dumber back then because they said outright what they were thinking instead of hiding it. Sadat for instance was literally a nazi, and he loved Hitler, saying so openly.
For Americans who defend Iran
put Israel aside for a moment,
Iranian leaders repeatedly call for “death to America” and our demise – especially at the end of their speeches and gain a huge public applause.
Regardless of the circumstances as to who did what wrong this is where we are at now.
As a American –
If a country repeatedly threatens another with death and publicly calls for a mass murder and demise of another (or to us more importantly), and they have the means to carry some of it out .
Now they almost have to ability to carry it out to a far greater degree ,Shouldn’t some thing be done?
or should the other country just wait to for them to get all there weapons built so its a fairer fight and be bombed first?
