i was under the impression thats what corporations did. find the most capable maybe even smart kids and train them. im not buyin it. these fuckers are lying.
Perhaps they can’t find qualified workers because they aren’t paying a good wage? Notice how aside from sales people and engineers he can’t name anyone else he wants to hire.

Ha. I have not been in many environments that train.
A business wants a person to hit the ground running.
Technology changes extremely fast.
It is difficult to meet the highly specific requirements that most employers ask for today.
It is also difficult for the applicant to justify the cost of retraining themselves. (since everything changes very rapidly.)
I have been in the software engineering business for 12 years.
