I think I need to go for a mental exam because I actually found some good points made by Caribou Barbie.
I was really surprised myself. I think she nailed the issue, and yet I haven’t seen much talk about it. It certainly was a more important comment than the idiocy about Paul Revere, which was on the news 24/7.
I’ve seen some comments elsewhere that it was not her but her speech writer, which is a pretty lame criticism. It’s now #2 on the NY Times most e-mailed list.
Something we should understand is that the media does not care about content. They intend to ridicule non-democrat politicians no matter what.
seriously doable old lady. she has my vote based solely on that.
Hey Cronkite,
Why grace Sarah Palin with any more media than she already gets. She is a waste of space? And while you’re at it, why don’t make a legitimate effort at posting links that are representative of what’s going on, like, for instance this Bloomberg news link about how many jobs Obama’s proposals would create and how it would influence GDP?
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-09-09/obama-job-plan-would-boost-u-s-gdp-by-up-to-2-next-year-economists-say.html.
Would love to see more straight up the middle news.
Blah blah blah
She does what she does best, talk the talk…
But can she walk the walk?
The symptoms are plain to see and the diagnostics is simple, but can you bare the treatment?
Impose a cap to political contributions and limit them to individuals. Pretty simple, entities with no vote (like corpo, foreigners) should have no right to contribute. The cap should make it so the middle class has the capacity to contribute as much as the rich.
Don’t give me class warfare bs. This is simply reclaiming the one man one vote democratic principle.
