man that thing looks as bad as this fund i’m doing some dd on for someone. what i have found in these types of holdings/funds/trusts etc. is that in their prospectus’. and semi annual reports to share holders is that way in the back of the fine print,you’ll see cds’ from soverign countries and bonds. and the way they are”deflating” cds’ globally,is to pack the funds with very familiar names that are all doing bad. heaven help the interest rate ever went up in the near term,you would see total a wipe out
Of course paulson nailed the housing bubble. If you were allowed to build your own portfolio of shitty mortgages that you knew would fail and the allowed to buy cds on that pool that you knew was shitty you could nail it too
