Late Night Inflammatory Thoughts

I know lots of people have lost jobs on Wall st. and we are still reading about job cuts.

Many people in America for that matter have lost jobs or have had their incomes suffer as a direct result of the financial debacle.

Could a class action lawsuit be brought against the world’s  largest banks, mortgage companies, rating agencies, and regulators for colluding in a profit scheme that directly affected the income and livelihoods of millions ?

Think about it. Municipalities and funds the world over are suing for losses.

All different types of industries like investment professionals could sue for loss of wages and or careers.

You lawyers need think  about it and  get paid on this one.

Never forget the actions of a few to collude, conspire, create, and peddle worthless paper as AAA caused the economy  to halt there by creating a lack of confidence, loss of income, homelessness, etc

In between cookies and milk I surfed this:

Teamsters’ Mr. Hoffa says the deal will be a job killer. “The so-called pilot program [for certifying Mexican trucks] is a concession to multinational corporations that send jobs to Mexico,” he said. “It lowers wages and robs jobs from hard-working American truck drivers and warehouse workers.”

I’m sure Obama’s LaHood another IL (b/)gankster is an independant too, right?

Now I’m sure by your view Teamster’s are “Independents,” who do you think they’re voting for in 2012? Note, this is no longer a 2008 issue.

Perhaps Mayor Bloomburg for “real change”, right Cronk.

It’s sortta like calling Presiding Intern Director in Chief Clinton, who takes pride in NAFTA, not to mention other “over-seas” outsourcing, to grin at selling America for some lentils. Genesis 25:29

    Sleep well.

The following has no relation to the actual topic at hand. (picture me stepping on my soapbox now)

Conferences I attend admit – North America is still the leader in innovation developed through our educational system and thought process. This is truly the only advantage we (I’m Canadian) have over Asia/Emerging Markets [at this time]. However, they’re learning from our practices (reengineering our technology) and trying to develop the same culture. We may develop a technology and have a single plant here where cost projects, modifications, or advancements are developed, but your fanboy (Apple for example) companies then clone the system overseas to pay workers a fraction of the cost (due to high supply, no unions, no benefits, no regard for worker safety….etc.). A death at a manufacturing facility isn’t recorded in China – there aren’t governing OSHA statistics that are fineable. If someone dies a new worker is pulled from outside the walls and is untrained in place 5 minutes later standing in a pool of blood (some exaggeration, but I have first hand stories).

To be honest I don’t know how I got on a tangent, but what I’m getting at is “How can America adapt to global pressure”. Its similar to my company. We’re cutting to survive in a downward demand cycle by drowning out smaller corporations with lower pricing to levels unsustainable by those competitors. Which in some sense is the perfect anaolgy of the American debt crisis and how it is to be resolved – change your culture (widespread spending reductions) or go out of business. Your American corporations created China’s economic success and now it is also your undoing. As far as I’m concerned the only thing America has better than the rest of the world is a MASSIVE military.

    Indeud.

    Bind Dead,

Not sure how you compare this issue to my inflammatory thoughts.

My issue hurt millions of people around the planet and scuttled livelihoods.

Your issue has only a fraction of the effect.

As far as your issue raised; well I would argue the safety issue is important. As it stands, not allowing pickup and transport within our borders, is fine with me. Will it kill some jobs…perhaps, but overall it is only logical form for free trade.

Teamsters are not independents. Nor is Lahoodwinkle….Originally teamsters were a great thing in this country. They stopped children from working and got better wages and rights for workers. Today they wiled too much power and have used that position to hurt companies and amass more wealth for themselves.

Given their history it is only natural that they lean left.

Clinton is not my hero either.

Overall I a may be liberal minded, but am not a liberal.

I have voted for both sides of the aisle and have subsequently seen campaign promises vanish along with both side of the aisle becoming corporate patsies.

If you think one side of the aisle is better than the other then IMO you have been hoodwinked.

    Lift the veil.

Just because the right promotes little government, less taxes, and has the same faith as you do does not mean you should support them and or allow your emotions and beliefs to be twisted for a vote.

Just because the left is seemingly philanthropic, devoted to the environment, and represents it self as a father figure does not mean people with those values should blindly cast a vote.

The truth is both sides have good and bad behavior problems. Both sides manipulate the common mans belief structures to coral their votes.

What we have seen in the voting polls for the past few elections is a people upset with their party and moving across party lines.

In the end no matter who the figure or what the issues are the same shit gets churned out.

The differences between the two parties and their behaviors amount to very little in the end.

While the steady climb of our country has elevated mostly all its citizens over the past 60 years; i feel we could be in a much better and balanced situation.

Unfortunately, politicians let some corporations run a muck of our political system.
This stems from the ingenious design of the federal reserve.

Also remember that supply side economics needs demand.

That demand may have finally been quelled for many years to come.

Now we must stimulate in order to create the perception of demand…..or convince a debt laden consumer to spend what he/she does not have.

If the world can work on the haves and have not then we as a species have lost our humanity.
