GUN STOCKS SOAR ON 2nd AMENDMENT SCARE

Last night’s Obama speech got people thinking to buy more guns. It’s kind of funny that people are doing the exact opposite of what he wants them to do. I am sure the IRS will be paying you a visit shortly.

The idea of tethering a no fly list to no buy gun list has people nervous, because it’s a super populist idea on the surface. As Americans, we are generally uninformed when it comes to what Homeland Security does all day long. We believe the no fly list is filled with terrorists and men running around with nitro-glycerine in mason jars.

The truth is, the no fly list is a some random computer generated algorithm, built by incompetents, that can be manually adjusted whenever a political enemy arises. For example, I am sure all of the readers at Zerohedge are on a no fly list. It’d be a shame to take away their 2nd amendment rights all because they want to see equity markets at zero…all of them.

As such, shares of RGR and SWHC soared today, with SWHC taking out new highs.

SWHC

As for the overall market: oil is tipping us into the black sea of nothingness. A few more days like this and I expect to see zero bids in the market. The debt load is mountainous and the underlying commodity, by which the loans are secured, are being discounted daily.

As an aside, ISIS makes 25%+ of their income from oil, approximately $500 million per annum. It’s widely known that they retail crude at 1/4th the price of market prices, meaning they are selling in the Brent markets for about $10 per barrel now. It’s not a coincidence that ever since the rise of ISIS, oil prices have been shattered.

Exodus is now flagging OVERSOLD. Get your buy tickets ready, for we rally inside of 5 trading days.

Dr. Fly – I’ve got a theory that this entire gun-rush is by design. To try and digitize the entirety of the paper trail that all of the old weaponry is recorded on is impossible. A new digital database (and roundup list) is now being created. These gun hoarders are self reporting, in a way, and the govt thugs of the future will know exactly which doors to kick in…..starting with the guy that purchased 10 semi-auto rifles back in 2015.

I always love the conversations with my gun-totin in-laws during the holidays about the government coming for their guns. They talk about cold, dead hands, the government coming for you and all that stuff.

I love giving them the vapors even more when I implant in their minds the idea if their government was that whacked out about their guns, the government wouldn’t knock on your door and get them.

      They’d use a fuckin’ drone.

Now I just gotta get a DJI Phantom or something like that to fly outside their window in the middle of the night…

Not nice…but possibly deserved. As for the round up, I would imagine there are still quite a few Japanese Americans living that have an interesting perspective on the future possibility. And did you ever ponder how some white-bread U.S. govt pencil pusher that couldn’t tell the difference between a Chang and a Fujimoto to save his life, was able to compile a specific round up list back then? They simply pulled out the previous census, where these honest and believing citizens had proudly checked the “Japanese” box when queried as to their ethnicity. They self reported, just like these Obama fueled gun hoarders. Maybe nothing will come of it, but the list will exist.

SCOTUS utilized some commonsense and effectively upheld lower court ruling that assault rifles and larger quantity magazines can be regulated by municipalities. So at least in some cities terrorists can’t buy the weapons that have killed so many of our citizens. But don’t worry, you can still buy a .357 to scare local kids off your newly seeded lawn.

Right on, dipshit. Because it’s so much safer in places with strong gun laws, like New York City, Chicago, and Paris.

FYI. I was not quoting the 2nd Amendment but Robin Williams version of it “baring arms and arming bears.”

Not familiar with any assault weapon mass murders in NYC or Chicago? Are you? I have no problem with owning handguns for home protection, shotguns or hunting rifles. Just don’t see the need for semi-automatic (automatic at a few turns) with large quantity magazines. What is their use except for killing people. Tell me hunting and I know you’re a fuckin’ moron.

I’m in favor of people without a criminal record being allowed to concealed carry. Primarily for the purpose of stopping mass shootings. When I took the concealed carried course, it was mostly women (about 50%) and the rest were mostly military people both active and retired. A concealed handgun is usually a very small very defensive weapon. The more people carry the more protection we have again jihadies and other crazies. I present to you the Fly of concealed carrry:

A denial of cert. should not be considered anything of the kind. The odds of an acceptance of a petition are tiny, like 2%. At the same time my guess is that maybe Scalia is the only member who would believe that government could not place reasonable restrictions on the 2nd Amendment. Guns do good too. You’re being a bit one sided.

The majority of justices refused to accept a challenge to the lower court ruling which effectively upholds the existing law. Scalia and his butt boy Thomas.

Denial of cert. means no such thing. I bet Scalia rides alone on this issue.

The Supreme Court’s denial of certioari leaves the decision of the lower court to stand without review. How does that not effectively maintain the current law which banned the sale or possession of semiautomatic guns that carry more than 10 rounds of ammunition?

When the Court denies cert. its means they decided not to rule on the merits of a case. So they are literally saying nothing about the merits of the underlying case. You cannot say this “upholds” the lower court . At most they are ignoring the ruling of the lower court. If they wanted to uphold the ruling they would accept the case and affirm it.

Here is Sotusblog.com on the issue: “Because the brief order denying review of the ordinance did not contain any explanation, there is no way to know why most of the Justices chose not to grant review.”

You want a gun? Look, there will be a GLUT of unfired firearms available on the secondary/private market in the near future. All you’ll need is a little cash, or a couple bottles of whiskey. You can’t eat a gun, and there will always be a bill coming due for the majority, which choose to live hand-to-mouth.

Nobody is going to take anyone’s guns. Absolutely nothing wrong with making getting a gun slightly more difficult. Imagine a world where gun nuts were as nutty about educating our youth. I couldn’t care less about responsible people owning weapons, I do think people’s obsession with them is rather unhealthy. I’m bummed I never got in the business of selling prepping gear to the tin foil hat crew.

    Good small business idea:

Plush indoor gun ranges with sound control, have viewing behind glass
    Serve coffee, TV, couches
People need practice and want a cozy environment.
