Turkey Wants Apology From Russia For Having to Shoot Down Their Plane

This is giant fuckery on a level never seen before. Instead of conciliatory gestures, the arrogant Turks, in the face of reports of Turks being arrested in Moscow– and a growing consensus to punish Turkey for shooting down a Russian warplane– the Turks take jerk and kick it up a notch (bam, Extra Emeril).

“It is playing with fire to go as far as mistreating our citizens who have gone to Russia,” Erdogan told supporters during a speech in Bayburt, in northeast Turkey. “We really attach a lot of importance to our relations with Russia… We don’t want these relations to suffer harm in any way.”

He said he may speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin at a climate summit in Paris next week. Putin has so far refused to contact Erdogan because Ankara does not want to apologize for the downing of the jet, a Putin aide said.

Erdogan has said Turkey deserves an apology because its air space was violated.

This is a very public humiliation of Russia. As a point in fact, 2015 has been the year to mock, jeer, and ridicule Russia. It’s as if the official US policy was to fuck with them, provoke them, until a new war was established, settling old debts.

We, the so-called civilized world are doing all we can to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in establishing a world-wide coalition to send ISIS off to the beyond.

I must say, I like Putin more & more and he is doing all he can to get the retarded west to join forces to rid the planet of ISIS. Naturally, Turkey who buys their oil on the cheap from ISIS, isn’t so gung-ho on the prospect and is sabotaging Putin’s efforts at every opportunity.

Does anyone understand what the US policy is regarding Syria?IE: How could the US not have known ISIS was making millions selling Syrian oil? How could the US not have known Turkey was transporting weapons to ISISI via Turkey? How the could the US not have known Saudi Arabia is funding and arming ISIS? How can the US be “against” ISIS but at the same time turn a blind eye to their entire financial, political and weapon support structure? What is US policy?

We actually might do better to stay out of the Middle East. Figuring out who is connected to whom in what way, and who is the enemy of whom, for what permanent or temporary reason, might be an impossible task– even if you had a lot of understanding of the culture, which most of our government folks do not.

A lot of our foreign policy folks are still the same neocons that destroyed Iraq in order to destroy imaginary weapons of mass destruction and have Iraqis welcome us as liberators. They are out of touch with reality, and need to be replaced by rational people.
