I was under the assumption stocks were to trade up, continuously, without pause. I am flanked by a Musket styled shot to the face attack, with the shares of SCTY tanking. Let it be noted, our resident mathematician, Caine Thaler, nailed the TSLA trade. One could only hope for TSLA to drop to $100 or even lower to further his prospects. But, as far as I am concerned, there isn’t anything to worry about with SCTY long term. It’s like a giant penis and the world is its vagina.
Back to stocks.
IMMR is having a good showing, which is keeping me in the black. Everything else is a non-event. I do wish YELP will drop 10-20%, amidst some scandal, so that I can buy it back. I have some serious sellers remorse issues with that one.
I am sizing up ONVO and will take a position, one day, hoping to hedge my Irish genes and my proclivity to drink the grape, cashing in on 3-d printable livers.
SOL went and I missed that. I won’t miss out when EMKR goes–and it will. You just sit there, in that ridiculous costume, and watch.
Okay, I have to get back to whatever I was doing before I decided to pen this post. “The Fly” is in good spirits and thanks to the heavens, I am NOT losing money today (yet) like the rest of you heathens.

I had ONVO at $4, at $6-7 its overvalued I don’t care if they make a liver or not it’s the size of a mm, only good for research and bio-tech. At least 20 years away from any real organ by then SSYS will have done it also.

My GDX,ABX,GDXJ purchase from Fri. PM looks good.
When the underlying physical got hit this AM the stocks themselves just sat there.
Mid-end of July has historically been very strong for these stocks after a vicious decline (going back 50 years +- see early’70s, late 90s, etc.).
I know what the experts are saying. They are wrong again.
Forgot to add, that I saw several downgrades the past few days on NEM, GG, etc. from outperform and from neutral to sell.
Where have they been the last year and a half?

I wish there was a derivative (even ETF) that tracked “property taxes” Then you could bet on property taxes going up. I feel that municipal bonds aren’t an adequate enough hedge against rising property values. If the ETF or futures market just tracked the nation wise real estate average tax, then those that find themselves in a secure financial situation can protect it from getting to the point where taxes, food, gasoline and whatever expenses get so high that suddenly they’re stuck living paycheck to paycheck.
I wish there were more ETFs that tracked things like this and individual price costs even on specific items. People could take either side betting higher or lower and thus create a market in it’s own and such.
Someone ought to create an intrade type of site and attempt to accomplish that and maybe it will inspire someone in the futures market to get moving on those kind of things.
