I am sick of these weasels on tv talking about KO and how they missed earnings because of the weather. Instead of taking the management of coke at their word, these weasels, small mice of men, are drumming up conspiracy theories, deriding the old fashioned American icon for reasons UNBEKNOWNST to me.
What’s also UNBEKNOWNST to me is why we should care?
KO was relevant back in the 1950’s, when Americans ate meatloaf for dinner, smoked cigarettes in school and worked inside factories riddled with fire hazards.
No one drinks soda pop anymore, not even teenagers. Coca-Cola is for children in Thailand or Mexico. You know, the stupid people of the world enjoy it–because it’s the American dream.

I’m one of the stupid people who drinks (diet) Coke, along with Warren Buffett. But he’s a Cherry Coke fan. We’re both dinosaurs of a bygone era.
How about Diet Rite, the original (I think) ?
I’ve tried most everything and Diet Coke is my favorite. I’ve been drinking more water lately though, so I guess I have some responsibility in Coke’s earnings miss. I will continue to reduce my Diet Coke intake, replacing it with water.

The ideal would be a weak open tomorrow and then a turnaround.
That would be another confirmation of a bottom being in for now.
Gold is going to $500
Maybe, but, I learned along time ago that I have a hard time even predicting the weather. In other words, it’s just a guess.
I just trade what I see and I see a high probability of a bottom (short term or otherwise) being in for the gold stocks.
I don’t know how anyone can trade gold unless they are a professional commodities trader. It’s pure spec, retail investors get smoked all the time. What do you base your probabilities on?

Almost 40 years of trading these gold stocks including ECO,PDG,OFSLY,KLOFY,SSC,OFSLY,VAALY (all merged over they years-except SSC, Chapter 11).
That being said, I have no clue where gold will be one day, week, month, or year from now.
Remember, the gold stocks tanked way ahead of the fall of the metal itself and will rise ahead of the metal.

I know, I just feel there is a fundamental change taking place. Historically people bought gold as a hedge against uncertainty, I’d rather buy guns.
