Wow! I was up 4.04%$ today mainly due to CLF,TC,TCK,FCX,UUU,MCP and CNQ.
I feel a little foolish however.
I had to drive my daughter to the bus terminal downtown Toronto. I’m usually up to date with the latest business news but because I was away from my computer much of the day I missed the big stimulus package announced by China. I ended selling some partial positions locking in gains and I don’t regret it but I might have avoided selling at all if I’d paid more attention.
Oh well, 4.3% will just have to do!
We don’t need no stinking QE; and it doesn’t matter if we get it or not. It would just be Ben burning some more newly printed currency, the big banks get it and lock it into their vaults so their financial ratios will look happy to the FDIC and they won’t show up some weekend to shut them down. (that was one tortuous sentence!)
