I know you do not believe these words, for they are different than yours. But, rest assured, as long as the stock market trades up, the democrats will occupy the White House. The stock market is the ultimate trickle down stimulus program.
In what could only be described as “clever,” the Federal government is using the “Detroit model” to save the country from peril. Naturally, the “Detroit model” is extremely effective in cutting back greenhouse gasses—through industrial attrition. Just think about it, if these “non tax and spend” Tea Party people took power, why, we’d see states and cities file bankruptcy claims on an industrial scale. It’s much better this way, as long as you are “clever” enough to buy gold bars and silver bullets.
Inflation is good and deflation is bad. Should food commodities run wild, the government will subsidize the cost. No biggie. If foreign nations stop buying our debt, we will stop making payments on the current debt: a win win for the US of fucking A.
In short, I have come around to the idea of a perpetually higher stock market, based upon profound American success stories, being played out in real time, by none other Barrax O’bama.

The major stock market indexes are all surging higher today as President Obama assures the public that he understands the economy and salutes his economic team. Today the President appeared in a CNBC exclusive town hall style meeting and was very upbeat as he answered various questions about the current state of the economy. The gathering was very short and there were not any questions asked about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The toughest question in the meeting was from CNBC’s own Rick Santelli who asked what the country is going to do about the current amount of debt that it is in. President Obama simply said that he will need to address it soon. The rest of the questions seemed rather basic and most were asked mostly by supporters of the administration.
Today’s volume on the major indexes are extremely light again which is certainly helping the markets to trade higher on the day. Tomorrow the Federal Reserve Bank will make their decision on the fed funds rate and make a brief statement on the economy, therefore, light volume could dominate the market again.

The government already subsidizes the basis for much of our food via corn. High fructose corn syrup has effectively replaced sweeteners in our country, subsidized through government payment to our farmers that can only yield profits through such methods. Not to mention it has become the major source of nutrition and fattening for cattle and other livestock in the USA. Our food costs have remained low over the past several years because of this fact.
The next step is for the farmers to trade those corn crops for jellybeans so we can all live in truly giant houses with white cloud fences. Think big people.

Why use up their buying power now? Isn’t it a bit premature? Why not wait until October to get the ball rolling? I mean, if you’re going to manipulate the market like that, why wouldn’t they instead knock it down in September — thereby setting us up for an epic (and more timely) rally in October?
