We will base today’s rally around the idea of QE2. The dollar will go down and commodities will trade up, especially of the dry variety. An upsurge in food commodities is especially desirable because it means we are “rich as fuck” and can afford any price our local grocer throws our way.

It is interesting that market rally yesterday based on expectation of QE 2. Since they announced end of recession, why would we need QE 2 then? So base on that logic, market should of break down hard with announcement of end of recession unless every trader knows that our government is lying through their ass on all stats.
So if we get QE 2 today, that would negate yesterday end of recession call?
Ummm, HELLO, to make stocks go higher. The whole point of government is to help stocks go up.

Is there something I’ve missed/ Why is everyone talking about QE2 being announced today. They already told us what they were going to do at the previous meet . Central banks don’t knee jerk around so quickly, especially when they don’t have to.
Since last month economic figures have stabilized somewhat, so the idea that the fed is going to press on the gas is a little too hopeful in my opinion.
