See when June cums and the option arms begin to jump? That’s when the stock market begins tanking again.
You crazy
Starting bid: $10 million
I call this one: The VIX Devil
Actually kind of interesting.
I wonder what can be gleaned by comparisons to the s&p over the same period.
Let me think about this.
Prepare for more “bullshit.”
_______
looks like you’re going on a VIX bear hunt, and you’re gonna catch a big one…
Can I get this in a duplex-frame with the original Cock-n-Balls pattern chart?
Opening bid: eleventy billion dollahs.
I increase the bid to an even threveteen billion dollahs.
what’s the “buy it now” price. This is one trade I don’t want to lose. (its signed, right?)
It shall go up because i say it will.
More later
VXX to the moon!!!!
Do you know why volume on VXX has trippled sudenly since Jan?
they had a buy 2 get 3 free sale on at walgreens.
ah yes, but what happened between the two creamy “normal” zones? (hint: the market vaporized) Early on, the VIX didn’t work exactly the way it does now.
Still, the Chinese are after this stuff–we need more — can you do PIMCO stuff like Real Return?
forget the financial markets – you have a much more impressive talent in your artistic abilities – this masterpiece may fetch $500k plus, sell a few of these and you’re sitting pretty
Did anyome else catch the article about the Banks getting sued by Alabama and Milan for cds on cnbc. I think it could be a game changer if it catches on.
Urinal Shadow says- Careful Fly. I see you drew a picture of Mohammed in the upper right hand corner of your chart. The crazies may want your head.
The Fly retorts lol
Daaaayuummmmm! Any relation?

Theflyonthewall.com got smacked.
A federal judge ruled yesterday that the financial Web site was infringing on the copyrights of several banks, including Barclays and Morgan Stanley, by publishing analyst recommendations right after they were released, before they were even able to be fully distributed to clients.
Now, Theflyonthewall must wait until two hours after release to publish recommendations released during the trading day. For reports issued after hours, they have to hold off until 10 a.m. the next day. The company also has to pay more than $12,750 in damages.
In its advertising, the site pitches that it gives customers the first whispers of analyst commentary impacting stocks.

Ahhh, a period piece…totally in the style of sports impression artist Leroy Neiman painting Ali putting down Frazier,The Vix being Ali and of course Frazier being the global bankers propped up house of cards…a must have piece to place in the foyer.
Mr. Fly,
Please check:

Can you explain in what conditions you expect VXX to go up?. it does not track VIX and the rolling scheme seems to be a killer. Just looking for your thoughts or somebody to contribute
Show this to Gentle Ben yet?
That chart is clearly printing a Bush & Clown Lips formation.
love it….
The Picasso of this blogging game!
And what level have we stopped at again??…107.80 of course…I probably would need to see DIAs trade down to 107.50 to feel any real selling is starting up
I find, dare I question the artist’s rendition, The Devil to exude a uneasy bellicose grin on his face. The simple triangle head resting upon his bespeckled thorax represents the harmonious balance of three forms of evil: politics, law, and inefficiency. We see that the artist gently tiptoes the balance between utter anarchy and complete humility with each brushstroke. Simply, BRILLIANT.
Odd though, most pieces from this time have “the Devil” wearing a blue blazer.
As for the painting, notice how the artist mocks the technical analysts community…just a couple of thick uneven lines drawn across the page with total disregard to high and low price points….shere genius
I am happy to say that as of today I am 95 % cash and have 5% in an inverse ETF. At the risk of losing out on any upside potential here, well, I’ll take my chances! Although not huge I am a little ahead of my all time high before the market crashed! I’m happy!
I’ve been buying basically putting my money in the VXX hole for a while now. I shall be rewarded by the demoncrats basically spending can kicking the can down the road. This healthcare bill passes and the taxes that come with it will kill production. What they fail to see is that the larger the percentage of national income taken by taxes, the greater the deterrent to private production and employment. The government spenders create the very problem of unemployment they profess to solve
Snik-Snak ……as jake says or in other words…………COCKED LOCKED AND READY TO ROCK….
Now, THAT’s what I was talking about!
I bid a $100 (assuming it’s signed)
[the $100 is no disrespect, you know, just to get the ball rolling]
Of, course, for the financially challanged, with assets under 10M, could you do high glossy prints like I requested?
p.s. it’s a beutiful work.
