BEHOLD: The Launch of the Power Dip System (PDS)

iBankCoin is launching its second premium service this Sunday, just in time for pagan X-mas. Like The PPT, The Power Dip System relies on the laws of mathematics to cherry pick stock ideas.

Over the next several days, we will update you with details about the system, with regards to pricing and how cool it will make you look when hanging out at your local Starbucks while sucking down some bullshit coffee— surfing the PDS “open picks” page.

Here are today’s picks, courtesy of Mr. Woodshedder aka HOLLY-Wood.

    okay couple of questions.

    1. last close… does that mean it’s live or updated from the close as the entry point?

    2. The exist threshold tells you the target level where you exit?

J, last close is used for position sizing. It is the “last close” as in the previous day’s close (the picks update in the evening).

The exit threshold tells you that once price exceeds the threshold, you will be exiting at the close, or the next open. However, if one can trade in real-time, and price spikes way above the exit threshold, he or she may choose to go ahead and close the trade, if he suspects a retrace into the close. For backtesting purposes, all trades were closed at the close.

    Fly,

the information war is huge. The fact that insurgents in iraq were able to peek into our camera footage is alarming, but not really surprising. every new tactic enabled by technology has inherent critical vulnerabilities, and some are discovered by the enemy first.

The main limiting factor on sorties flown today is the human element — someone in the cockpit who gets tired and starts losing his or her edge. A strike platform flown from the back of a humvee (or in a colorado bunker) by pilots taking shifts minimizes collateral damage, increases fuel efficiency (good for logistical reasons), and pumps up the intelligence officer’s battlefield situational awareness. UAVs are already replacing manned aircraft, though they’re flown by qualified aviators (in the air force and navy, currently) through a satellite link. In a briefing back at the academy, a plank owner told me that the joint strike fighter will most likely be the last manned fighter jet.

Fucking incompetence is what it is, Hammy. Those feeds should be super encrypted.

every plate of armor adds weight that takes away from speed and mobility. the same is true of encryption, virtual armor.

“super” Encryption may add lag time to the transmission of the video feed, taking away from the real-time control of the pilot. believe it or not, this sort of thing may have been anticipated (even expected) by the communications officers in charge. It may very well be incompetence, or it may be the outcome of a calculated risk. The client making the risk/benefit decision are not faceless weapons manufacturers, but commanders on the ground who care deeply about those affected and the success of the mission.

instead of sounding like an ignoramus, take a vote of confidence in our military leadership before calling them incompetent. Consider giving them the benefit of the doubt that your myopic vantage point doesn’t reveal the whole story.

Sorry Hammy. I refuse to give anyone a vote of confidence, no matter what their line of work is. All humans are flawed and tend to take short cuts, including military personnel. Frankly, it is unacceptable for this to be out there and someone should be accountable.

BTW: This is more the developers fault, than the military.

Once again, you are confusing the two.

no. you are confusing the overall issue. When it comes to discussing matters of military nature, you have demonstrated yourself as unequal to the challenge, Corporal Clawhammer.

Agreed. There is no excuse for for that sort of shit. It’s either lazy or incompetent contractors, or the people and organizations overseeing them. It’s just bullshit. There are plenty of people in the industry that build secure stuff.
