full disclosure: I like this ACAS quite a bit Le Fly. I bought when you first mentioned it on Friday at $3.06 and doubled down earlier today at 2.94. I love trading companies who are fully insolvent.

Presumably the selling pressure on ACAS this morning was a significant dividend paid in stock. I suspect there were plenty of folks who flipped the extras. Stock held up very well, and has turned green indeed.

I live in Canada and some of my American freinds are coming up here to open Canadian bank accounts in US$ to escape the expected panic in the USA coming IF there is a bank holiday.

I am pretty new to this shit so please take it easy… I know you all pros here… Some one can point me to where should I start with. Maybe Le Fly has some books written on this subject.. I know this site is great, especially the Master. But I want to know what are the criteria for picking a specific stock. I remember the Fly mentioned: Tell me where the money goes… Any ideas?

I believe Fly wrote a book with the title Reminiscence Of A Stock Operator.
It’s a classic and about a guy named Jesse Livermore who is really the Fly.
You can find it in the library by title or Fly’s real name Edward Lefevre (now you know why he is a/k/a Le Fly).

I am loving my short on WYNN that I initiated on Friday. I posted it for all to see and follow.
I am not closing it yet. Not quite yet
on the building front….weird and hard to tell around here, just went for a drive around town, saw some brand new commercial construction projects started, new footings put in, some other places had new commercial buildings that were framing up and some other new construction sites that were in the final fazes of finishing touches.
I also see some new “for lease” signs up where businesses used to be but also some “opening soon” signs up elsewhere.
also just went to see the new Cannondale Liquigas team issue carbon road bike and the bike shop said business was so booming on higher end mountain bikes and road bikes that they hardly had any inventory (as I commented on where all the bikes were) they usually have about 25 to 30 full suspension mountains in and today they had only 6 (these are 2,500.00 to 5,000.00 dollar range models) so business is good for some (although it could be ex- laid off bankers trading in the BMW for a bicycle and just can’t be seen on anything less than a Specialized Epic Carbon….ha ha ha)
