There are soooo many bears trapped here, short stocks in a very FAZtardingly way. As you know, I was very close to going short, via inverse etf’s, but was saved by God himself. It appears the ADTRAN, Inc. [[ADTN]] conference call was not so kick-ass. No worries. The company is well positioned and should do well in the future. I will buy the dips.
Thanks to the cock masters at Intel Corporation [[INTC]] , tech is ripping higher. I am so chockful of longs here, there is not much for me to do, other than sit back and enjoy taking your money.

They also tell me your “newz” articles, regarding their alleged criminality, are laughed upon by men in yellow suits and blue shoes. According to The PPT, we are, officially, in bull market mode, with an overall score of 3.25 or “buy.” In the past, any score above 3 marked a near term top in the market. However, it has always been my contention that the score would remain above 3, with regular vivacity, once the market was officially in bull mode. It is my belief, ladies and chicks, that is exactly what we are in right now.

I’ve got the paddles and the stethoscope… I’m pronouncing the bear market dead as of 1.00 Pm EST time.
We gave it several paddle bursts but the machine has flat-lined and the heart’s stopped beating after a long attempt at resuscitation..
So 1.08 PM NYC time is the exact time of death.
Here are some of my observations about a few diverse earnings reports I’ve read:
GS: Principal Trading is huge for them, underwriting was great, they’re the dealer for US Treasuries and printing for that is not stopping. The cigars hang low and are packed tight on that deal. Primary commodity dealings are oil (and their derivatives), nat gas, power, and forest products. They’re kicking ass in this area (deemed FICC, Fixed Income, Currency, Commodities, or otherwise known as Federally Insured Cha-Ching) much to the chagrin of Sam the Eagle Denninger and Doom bloggers everywhere. Interest rate swaps were popular. They had a successful secondary offering too which helped.
CSX: Rails down on lack of commodity transactions. Coal and metal weakness are major hurting points. Agricultural products have held up well because of ethanol transport but poultry and grains suffered. Basic foods also saw decent volume.
INTC: The standouts here are the Atom processor, made for notebooks and other mobile devices, in conjunction with increased demand from China.
YUM: KFC is kicking ass because of its new grilled cocks, a delicacy for shanty dwellers. Pizza Hut is lagging, desperately trying to promote home cooked meal style dinners. This is an ongoing theme with fast food companies, but who are we to scapegoat when all the fat fucks are gone? Yum is expanding rapidly in emerging markets too.
Takeaway: Man’s gotta eat first, preferably something half-decent. Businesses have already or are in the process of scaling down. The consumer is scaling down electronically and that bodes well for pocket devices but will tighten margins for producers. I’d say less risky would be Food, Bev, Breweries, etc. while mobile tech, telecom, etc. are places to take moderate risk.

SPX 957 ‘Must’ be taken out topside in order to garner legs/mojo. Until/Unless, home on the range (880-957). Very likely that SPX 880 is ‘tested’ at minimum 1-2 more times, then, and only then, depending on the outcome, shall we have clarity.
