Sir! An achievement not to be trifled with.
That break above support is nothing more than Josh refreshing his computer.
As the cleanup from the pancake breakfast ensues, I gaze out onto my back porch through the sliding glass door onto the screen. The self replicating nanotubes cover the screen, each refracting the color of the rainbow. Six filters are running at 100% 24/7 inside the home. But, the landscape outside is covered. A ten year old girl brings me a lucky charms math project from school with a large white construction paper cloverleaf on the front. I graciously tell her that she did a very good job on it and that I will save her work. But my mind reflects on operation cloverleaf. What will it mean?
You’d have to be N-V-T-ZZ to short that chart! Something only some sort of Josh1gU would do.
fly- i have made coin since the beginning-you have a way of knowing when to turn the steaks-and they come out perfect.i really enjoy the no bullshit -take no prisioners attitude.BEST SITE

I’d be willing to sell some IBC JUNE 1.4 million calls against my love of the site.
Very Robusto.

Anyone here used Vmotion? If so or if you know what I am talking about is there a similar function for Hyper-V? I don’t use Hyper-V much so curious if there was a similar functionality that would allow for adaptive guest movement based on performance changes.
yes……parabolic….then crash….then burn baby burn
Yeah, but how much of the increase is due to DEVILDOG constantly hitting ‘reload’ to see if you’ve responded to his comments yet?
Ratings Chair
That’s a good point. I too have quite a few hits on this olde site.
The site isn’t growing in popularity at all, it is in fact cannibalizing itself with bloated worthless egos like me….
Well you know who!
Only in America!!
Uhh…I’d just like to say..uhh..and…Let me be…clear..uhh

nice work… its what you get when you’re consistently accurate and hilarious at the same time
Careful Fly, I think the RSI is showing a bearish divergence. Proceed with caution!
Picked this up from Zero Hedge.
Excellent article in Pravda, the newspaper of record of the former Communist U.S.S.R., describing how Americans are voluntarily surrendering their freedoms and liberties without a fight. Sadly, virtually everything expressed by the author is 100% spot on.

SatanicChihuahua–
I think someone made the point on Devil’s blog last week…most people are living paycheck to paycheck. Who has time to protest anything?
Why do you think its so easy for Gov. to boondoggle a trillion to the banks and Aig….people are scared shitless. People with assets for fear of losing them and having to defend themselves and people with out them for fear of being in the street.
Satan’s Pooch —
While I tend to agree with the sentiment, above noted publication’s credibility has always been in question…
Maybe never more so than now.

If everyone votes that way, maybe we can throw all the scoundrels out.
Jake, that’s funny. Maybe the site isn’t an offshoot of the original Pravda after all, but the article I linked to is spot on regardless, IMO.

Question about ratings of the PPT. I see that the different bloggers will say what stock they are buying, but in parentheses the PPT rating. Maybe (PPT Rec:Sell)
What are they looking at, that is over riding the rating. Does this make the rating invalid. If so, why have the
rating?
I would really like to know how much direct government intervention was used in the first big rally after the ’29 crash.
There is nothing fundamental driving this rally.
California is fucked and they are just a glimpse of things to come as far as overtaxed, overburdened states go.
Relax
Times are tough<—lol
Get serious, we are just lazy waiting for somebody to save us. How else could we end up with what and who we have ‘leading us’
Fuck California
They are too worried about gay sex then the economy, they are getting exactly what they wanted
In time they might even realize how they did it.
Britain’s got talent is rigged. While I have never once seen American Idol, I did hear endless talking about the British version and the Susan Boyle hotness. How could such a fine woman have lost this competition? Seems like a lot of things are backwards these days but that is just plain rigged.
Oh one more thing before I take off to the bar, I expect “Mini Me” aka “Hole-In-One Hank” aka “Dear Leader” to launch an offensive ICBM like missile test if not tonight then soon. This will be the precursor to him attaching a war head made of glowing green on top of a missile and mounting it on the pad, not for launch but for massive leverage. If this happens we will drop to a 7 handle on the /ES, let’s hope neither will come true. That is all.
Hell yea! I came here in summer ’08. As always, I position myself just before the BTFO occurs.
Henry – join us in the PPT clubhouse. I’m sure you can float the cover charge.
RIP Louis Rukeyser. I would love to hear his perspective on the market right now.
There’s a bull out there, and he’s visible.
It’s been a good month.

Jake – everyone is making money now, besides DD and Josh. Post some numbers over the next 6 months when this shit changes and lets see how you do. I say this run goes to 1050, for a retrace and then the bottom falls out. Right around mid to late August. Thats why the fly and his traffic is the shit, because he will call it and continue to make money, while you go to DD land.
Hey “Wolf,” eat a bag of devil dogs, eh?
“Everyone is making money?” “Everyone” is beating the comps by 21%?
Fly will tell you I was bullish before he was, for one thing, just as I was bearish before that.
Second, I will post “numbers” every day and every week, just as I have been doing.
Will you, douchebag?
Don’t bother, I know the answer to that one too, tough guy.
_____________
“Everyone is making money?” “Everyone” is beating the comps by 21%?
I would think a lot of people on this site who trade beat that with the recent run up.
Fly will tell you I was bullish before he was, for one thing, just as I was bearish before that.
Me too, but fly wasn’t trading because he was moving his accounts? But when he came back to the game, he picked the right side and went bullish.
Second, I will post “numbers” every day and every week, just as I have been doing.
I could, I just don’t think people give two shits what Im doing.
For the record, I was in two stocks in my trading account: PALM and CME. I happen to buy at the right time because everyone, in March, was talking about stocking up on ammo, etc.
I got in PALM after the secondary at 6 and CME where I jumped at 192 because I work there and saw some encouraging signs.
I am out of palm probably next week and got out of cme at 318 on Thursday. It probably goes higher with the hope of increased interest rates, but I think the market will correct in August, so fuck it.
The rest is in indexes since I dont have time for the markets now.
I am trying to build a revolutionary app. for the healthcare industry and don’t have time to track the markets at this point. And Im just fucking with you, so relax.
Fuck you all
Wolf —
Good luck with the revolutionary health care app, we’re going to need something like that to stave off the march to socialized medicine. It’s not something in the PHP (private health portfolio) arena is it?
I was most annoyed at you comparing me to permadolt Devil Dog. I am not dogmatic in my positions, and the farthest thing from inflexible, so the comparison is insulting.

Josh:
Well fuck you too.
Rising inflation and commodity bubbles are not good for the economy in the long run, because at some point the Fed will have to tighten the monetary screws and that will likely give us yet another recession. But for now, I think it pays to bet on rising real and nominal cash flows, and rising prices for “things.” That means staying long equities, long TIPS, and short T-bonds. I would also be long commodities if it weren’t for my real estate holdings.

“sactly” right.
While siting here and waiting for delivery of a new refrigerator (our 21 year old refrig. quit yesterday) and trying to keep the food on ice I was perusing through he net and came across this tidbit from Zero Hedge (and read about this earlier elsewhere).
Dose Obama have an enemies list for the Chrysler dealership closures? Most closed were Repub contributors and Chrysler itself had no say on the closures. Plus the car czar is married to the former National Dem chair for Hillary.
http://zerohedge.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-am-marlas-observations-on-artifical.html
I would say that Obama being the Souh Side Chicago politco he is that he would know to bring a gun to a knife fight.
Still not sure why they were closed as I don’t believe they cost Chrysler anything and they are now out of major market areas.
Oh yeah.
And Go Magic.
I’ve read some reports that GM and Chrysler bailout funds will be used to relocate all production to China, Italy, and Brazil. The vehicles will be produced overseas and then sold in Europe, America, and Asia. My opinion is that Ford will stay here. Daimler distanced itself from Chrysler awhile ago.
TC said:
“Still not sure why they were closed as I don’t believe they cost Chrysler anything and they are now out of major market areas.”
I’ve wondered about that, too. My guess (and its’s purely a guess) is that with so many dealers competing against each other, Chrysler has to keep offering incentives for them to move product, which hinder’s Chrysler’s profitability.
By closing dealers, they’re hoping to REDUCE competition among dealers which would reduce the need for manufacturer’s incentives. Chrysler’s margins will then improve but consumers get fucked into paying higher prices. It’s anti free market.
If my theory is close to right, it is more Obama change you can believe it.
Chrysler is gone completely. All the signs will disappear and the name will only be significant in the history books to be written by the conquerers.
History is littered with car company names before the phrase “too big to fail” was coined. Things are different now.
WE are down to Ford or I should say Back to Ford.
I am not in the auto biz so I do not really know about dealerships but GM has wanted to close many for years and there are state laws that make it too expensive. The auto company should know its own business. Those meek mild mannered Repubes are pathetic – they just sit there and allow these phony Marxists like Obama to walk over them – “Bork” that dumb woman nominee – stand up you cowardly Pubes!
The automakers have long wanted to cut the number of dealerships substantially. Low-volume dealerships are expensive to support. Yes, I know that the dealerships aren’t owned by the automakers.
Toyota and Honda have far fewer dealers than F and GM have.
Another terrorist attack on US soil today.
Protesters blockaded Tiller’s clinic during Operation Rescue’s “Summer of Mercy” protests during the summer of 1991, and Tiller was shot by Rachelle Shannon at his clinic in 1993. Tiller was wounded in both arms, and Shannon remains in prison for the shooting.
The clinic was bombed in June 1986, and was severely vandalized earlier this month. According to the Associated Press, his lawyer said wires to security cameras and outdoor lights were cut and that the vandals also cut through the roof and plugged the buildings’ downspouts. Rain poured through the roof and caused thousands of dollars of damage in the clinic. Tiller reportedly asked the FBI to investigate the incident.
No arrests were made in the 1986 bombing.

Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Richard Fisher said on Thursday that the yield curve often steepens after a period of flatness heralding an economic recovery, but in this case is it likely a combination of factors.
