It’s mid-week, and today’s session is a must attend for any option trader. We’ll be tackling “Option Volatility,” which is the 8th wonder of the world.

I’ve taken my fair share of criticism here lately. I understand why, as the last two weeks have been a difficult process. However, I want to take a moment to reply to a comment positioned towards me about my guidance on this blog. Especially now that the difficult process is behind us, and everyone that listened to my guidance is becoming filthy rich and better traders.

This all stems back to the Twitter IPO, and my recommendation to go “all in” on social media behind the Twitter IPO. I couldn’t find another individual out there standing behind this stock as I was, nor giving the same reasoning behind the idea. The risk of the Facebook IPO was being involved. The risk in the Twitter IPO was missing out.

While my $60 Twitter call will make me rich and famous, I want to touch on the process. I’ve been very vocal, and have talked through this process daily, through both good times and bad. I watched as Pikers fled from the idea and from my reach while this idea took time to develop. As with most, the easy thing to do is flee the scene at the first sign of adversity.

In regards to my guidance, sometimes its best to respond to the constant need for validation, emotional and psychological support by saying nothing at all. This creates a unique learning experience for the individual, in that proper planning, position sizing, patience, and management always win at the end of the day. That and being a bad ass stock picker.
