In the End, Stocks Win Again

Sorry for my lack of participation here today. For the last 24 hours I’ve been trying to get new amenities added on to my new living quarters. Mostly, water and internet.

I’m getting settled in today, but still have more work to do. It thrills me to see stocks at elevated levels in light of this news. I love the win/win proposition of being a market bull.

I’m not adding anything here. I hate to trade into volatility. We’ll be setting up new ideas for tomorrow in After Hours with Option Addict.

I Got Game

Last night in After Hours with Option Addict, we discussed a rotation that would take place today into alternative energy stocks. I bought SCTY calls yesterday and took my position in YGE this morning.

I am currently stalking SPWR, but note the intra-day downtrend in the overall market while all alternative energy stocks are uptrending.

LOL.

FYI: After Hours with Option Addict members, as mentioned last night, I need to cancel tonight’s session. I have to get my home office set up and today is the day everything gets installed.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but we will pick back up on Wednesday.

Thank you,

OA

Twitterpated

That’s it. It’s official. From a huge position initiated at $41, to now having closed my biggest sized option position at over a 1000% return, the price of a share of TWTR stock has hit $60.

Check out this chart, that will be framed in my office later today ($60.00 print).

Great job everyone. Huge win for the holidays.

Good People

What a week. You know, its great to see the comments that fly around this blog. It’s positive, people helping other people, and big money being made. Generally speaking, I don’t like most people, and prefer to surround myself with good people. This blog for the most part, is good people.

It’s been an amazing week. At the same time, I am exhausted. For those of you enjoying big gains, protect them. Know that in trading it won’t always be this easy. There will be times where we don’t make all the great calls. So make sure you continue to work on the fundamentals that we discuss in After Hours with Option Addict, so that when certain situations present themselves, you have the fundamentals down pat and from there can improvise.

In regards to the recent string of questions about TWTR, I’m going to repost this write-up I provided back in mid-November. It’s been my game plan from day 1…

TWTR

I made my case at the IPO that the general public has actively ignored this idea after being cheated in FB. I can’t blame them. However, it should be noted that most “financial guru’s” are steering their audiences away from this name as well, suggesting the stock is grossly overvalued. TWTR is now my second largest equity holding, next to FSLR. I think that because most traders are suggesting that we follow the FB playbook on this stock is precisely the reason why it will do the opposite. I’m looking for TWTR to make a run for $50 and beyond this month, catching most traders off guard and creating a chase-effect. Why will investors chase? Because they don’t own it. TWTR should set the tone as to whether or not these other stocks like LNKD, FB, and YELLP will be able to break away from these multi-month trading ranges.

I suggested we’d have $60 TWTR for Christmas this year, and if that is going to happen, keep an eye on it this upcoming week.

I plan on blowing the roof off this market into year end. I hope you all plan to join me.

My Christmas List

This is it. This is what it all comes down to.

I had a great opening trade in the Russell futures that I broke even on, and another long here at 1100. This is the Thursday low prior to OpEx and the $RUT is doing a lovely job of not going lower here. We’ll discuss this in After Hours with Option Addict. It will free your mind.

While breadth in general is sucking ass, the location here is as good as it gets.

While retail investors liquidate their holdings for Christmas, my Christmas Wishlist is asking Santa for the following gifts for the holidays…

A Twitter valuation at $60 per share.

Higher prices in CTRP, FSLR, CZR, YELP, FB, C, CLF, WLT, TWTR, VJET, DDD, YOKU, TSLA, Z, QIHU

(These are my option trades, not stock trades)

If I’ve been nice this year, I am wishing he’ll salvage my AMZN, YGE, and JASO as well.

In closing, I’ve wished upon my enemies that they all hold short positions in stocks, especially the ones I own.

Merry Shitmas,

OA
