Getting Started

Nothing better than getting revved up to start another week and getting a chop fest of a playing field to navigate through. We’ll make do.

Thus far on the day I booked gains in CIMT shares from $6.60, and sold my RKUS calls for a small profit. I took down April calls in TSL and V, and am contemplating selling SODA calls here while booking a loss in either KBH, LULU or both.

LNKD is a concern for me here as well.

What are some of your top ideas for the upcoming week?

Mid Day Update

Thus far on the day I booked gains in TSL, and will wait for lower prices before rolling out a new position into April. I also picked up a new long in APOL Apr 36 calls.

I’ve been at work constructing a new watchlist for next week. New names, new looks, new potential.

We’ll discuss these set-ups after the bell on After Hours with Option Addict.

Turn the Page

I’m convinced that what we’ve seen happen this week is an important turning point in the market. The mark of a new chapter that takes place starting now.

Most folks out there conspire against the market, that we’re only moments away from the next crash. You know me, my conspiracy theory is that the market is getting ready to explode.

Enjoy your gains,

OA Buy: YGE

This spot is as easy as it gets in terms of trade management.

I currently have a big position of YGE shares  from $4.40, and added April 7 calls here.

Manage this trade with exits down at $5.75. Above $6.30, this thing goes to $10.

Yes, I am Still Long

I managed to close out February in great form, knocking out wins in stocks like QIHU, PLUG, CNTF, KNDI, MOBI, NVLX, KUTV, WBAI, etc. This helped me get past the large number of options positions that expired worthless on me. A personal record of sorts, since my last high total was 7 positions that had imploded on me. I position size for this, obviously, and despite the constant discussions about how critical position sizing is in options, I think at times it falls on deaf ears.

I am back in a zone again, but this time it feels a little different. Like the market has knocked the wind out of a lot of people. As usual, right when things feel at their worst, this is usually the most significant point of opportunity.

Thus far on the day…

My biotech names are absolutely crushing it: PPHM, OXBT, ROSG, CORT…

My stock positions are insane…DANG (+95%), MY (+45%), GOGO, RENN, CIMT…all ripping.

My options are looking great, booked SOHU…holding BAC, AAPL, GME, MPEL, RKUS, NOV, YOKU, etc.

My top picks: SINA, SODA, LNKD

And most importantly, I am back to account equity highs for the year, in short order. As you know, that’s how it works.

Good job guys.
