CONGRATS. YOU’VE BEEN TRAPPED

Listen. For the most part, I like nearly all of you. I want what’s best for you. If you have a gain playing the long miners trade, take it and walk away. You’ll thank me later.

Keep an eye on this chart. It’s a bullish pattern. Should you get caught holding mining longs here, the zone underneath is fast and thin.

Don’t tell me about averaging down into weakness, because there is no reason to hold longs here. It’s like holding banks in 08, thinking you can just buy more. 6 years later, you’d still be in the hole on that trade.

There might be one more pullback here to enter JDST. If we don’t take out the lows in this ETF, there’s a gorilla ramp waiting on the upside.

AGENT 12631.B

I’ll keep this brief, as most of you have already heard or seen the news.

For 12631 members, this news should be considered a gain, not a loss. For After Hours with Option Addict members, we’ll be utilizing the 12631 platform to execute ideas that we develop together in the After Hours sessions.

I’m looking forward to idea flow with Ragin. I’ve known him for years and have a strong rapport with the guy. We have similar styles, and will be competing to see which of us can make you more money.

Going forward, I am thrilled to be part of another IBC campaign and I promise that this will be a good move for you in the end.

Let’s make money.

JDST DIARIES

jdstdiary

Yes, my post titled “Forty” top ticked the JDST. Thank you for the compliment. After all, it was the price target I gave you when I bought into this shit instrument. If it DIDN’T top there, then I’d take offense to the comments. So while I sit in this, plot my burial next to Sethster, and inscribe “JDST” on my tombstone.

As it stands I am trapped inside a mediocre win, in what was a premonition you can only pleasure yourself to. Nobody else was even on that level, especially from the teens.

So what if I didn’t sell there? It’s my punishment for being a greedy asshole. Ask RC or Fly about how messed up in the mind I was on Thursday night wrestling myself over this decision. I could barely even hold a conversation, as I ran around the casino asking where the JDST machines were.

I’ll end on this. Considering I gave this to you in the teens, and it’s been to $40, even if you only make one dollar from it, it was the easiest dollar you ever made.

I’m married to this now for $50. Leave me alone.

FRESH LONGS

I got CMG, GPRO and WDAY calls at the open today. Just bought shares of ESI too.

I’ll probably book TSLA and BLOX to make room for these new positions.

My top picks from here are TWTR and GPRO.

What are you trading this morning?

LOOK FOR ENTHUSIASM

By now, you have to respect the call about BABA setting up to perform the same way TWTR did post IPO.

Here’s another look, as I enjoy doing this now on at least a weekly basis.

To determine a target on this, simply wait for the “enthusiasm” or blow-off move. TWTR had the same action, marked by epic volume on its blow-off move. This should be no different.

On the day this sets to trade well over 100 million shares, start taking profits into it.

We’re already up over 1000% here, so hang on tight.

Event Summary

Well, you were missed. Sort of.

I’ll do my best to give you a quick run down of how things went down. I’m going off of very little sleep, so I’ll be brief.

I arrived at the Encore on Thursday night. As I pulled up to valet my car, I was wedged between a Lambo and an Aston Martin. The lobby looked like a social gathering sponsored by Hugh Hefner. While walking to my room I was immediately greeted by a small gaggle of women asking if I needed help upstairs. I think they were only into me once they saw my disposable iBC coffee mugs.

There were late nights with the IBC staff over ribeye steaks and fine wine. We threw many dollars at poker, roulette, blackjack and craps tables. It was great just to get some leisure time in with these guys, aside from our annual IBC dinner in August.

The event itself was so meticulously planned and executed. The conference room was great. The food served was better than any I’ve had at an event like this.

Ragin did a great job of MC’n the event. Howard gave a great presentation on how cool it would be to be him. He threw out some of the monster deals and winship he’s done over the years and how his thesis has always been to put himself into the future. Loved his candor in front of the group. He put on a great show.

My favorite part of the event was Macke. I’ve had a man crush on that guy since Fast back in the day. What those guys did in 2008 while the world burned was immortal, and since his departure I’ve not been able to bring myself to ever tune back in. He spoke on financial media, and how to filter noise in our industry. He talked retail and gave his top play: LULU. The guy even presented in a fresh pair of LULU pants. I regret not getting a photo with the guy, as it would have been framed on my office wall.

It was great to meet our readers. As it turns out, you’re not that bad of people. I actually liked every single person I met. It was also hilarious and quite a challenge to keep Fly’s identity safe while watching each of you talk with him, interact with him, and at the end of the night, get intoxicated with him.

The VIP event was awesome. The terrace suite was exceptional. We had drinks and great food, followed by loud young-people music whilst smoking cigars, talking stocks, and having good laughs. Overall, this is one of the best events I’ve participated in over many years. Thanks to all those who could attend.

The encore to this weekend will be #iBCNYC next summer. We’ll give you a second chance at this.

See you in the morning.
