I nibbled on an oil long down here today. I booked a big win in $TWLO from Monday. Picked up some $SQ as well.
I have anxiety about letting go of longs here. As that happens, I’m left with very little set-ups out there to trade in. Everything has moved to the point where risk is tougher to manage on a new entry. Easier to endure pullbacks than to be sitting there watching with nothing in the queue to buy.
I’m watching $WUBA, $STMP and $GOGO…and stacking inventory like a mutual fund over here.

Just bought those Aug 50’s. But yes, it was that volume.
It’s tough, I don’t see the next rotation, setups seem few. Option volatility is nice and low, if I can only find something to buy. I just can’t buy high and sell higher. Puts would be an idea, but bears can’t hold on.
got in and out of sq today when it broke the days lows. I’ve only lost money trading that thing.

Congrats on the success dip buying, but be tight on this next one if you buy it… Gold has been firing warning shots down compared to the rest of the sector recently, and GDX has a really nice looking H&S pattern since last Monday.
Also, only one of the four PM ETF’s (GDXJ) confirmed a new high today. That kind of divergence has been a trend change signal in the past. We’ll see from here… but just two cents.

Why is BLUE dropping like a rock ?
Sold the PYPL July 39 for a bit of a loss this morning, which I thought was dead.
Picked up a couple LCI Aug 30s just now (target of 33.75). Have some low offers in on CMCM calls for Aug and Sept.
Im stressing about those PYPL calls. I could have sold them for a decent profit in the morning (after they were dead) and I missed it. Had a chance to sell for break even and didnt take it. Lets see what happens tomorrow, but I sold BAC calls at breakeven 3 days before expiration a few weeks ago only to watch them triple in 2 days. Plus the big open interest is at 41 and prices are usually drawn there.

What the hell – just woke up from a dream that I wanted to buy $SPY puts. It was 3:49 PM, I logged on but could not get the trade executed. Anybody ever trade based on a dream? I remember one guy in the chat told us about a dream he had but didn’t take the trade. He would have profited if he had taken it. Ha
