I’ve been stalking this stock all year. I just picked up a good sized position for 2015. Lots of call volume activity in this today:
@WallStJesus · 26s26 seconds ago $BYD 16,045+ FEB15 $13 C traded, a whopping 45x normal
Here’s the chart. Looks like MGM did in 2012 before it doubled in price.

Hmmm. Interesting play on Consumer Discretionary spending.
That’s a helluva bloop you are buying into there, OA. Best o luck.
I clicked on the link, but used protection first.
How am I going to explain this to Mrs Cutting?
Cutting, is there anyone in the five points you haven’t f—ed?
“Mrs Cutting” is a vague term…
I felt dirty chasing it up. But I’ve been wanting this in the IRA all year. Looks like it might finally leave.
Good decision to click with protection.
Chasing Dirty Options…oooh. Perfect clickbait title for a future post.
So I heard from the Lord, and you were spoken to by Jesus. I’m wondering which of us iBC peeps is going to be visited today by the Holy Ghost? RC is in need of healing, so I’m hoping it’s him…
Maybe at the very least, we can get a visit from our old pal SpaceGhost?
$phmd grabs some attention
Been watching $BYD and missed out due to waiting for a pullback. Instead of kicking myself in frustration, bought $SUNE on today’s pullback. Thinking I got a gift on that.
BYD has been a buyout target numerous times in the past. The Borgata is a premier location.
I sold my WYNN yesterday in anticipation of a potential drop due to soft December Macau numbers coming out on Friday. Hope I’m right. Dividend yield is solid on that one and LVS. WYNN has the best balance sheet but most exposure to Macau. BYD has no exposure to Macau. haven’t looked at BYD in a while to see how their cash flow / balance sheet look but from a macro perspective I like the call as a play on a strong US economy. Tough buying after a +22% move from lows a couple of weeks ago.
Good luck!
Yeah, if this were a trade, I wouldn’t do that. I think this is an initiative move that starts a trend.
Happy to see how $EVEP responded to that flush. Especially considering I initiated a position today on the dip below $20. Watching it with a relatively tight leash for an investment, with a stop at $18.75.
I bought back into this today too TJ. If energy catches a bid tomorrow, look out above.
Uggh,my computer just gave me a cold sore after clicking on that link.
