Our candidate for a weekly call position this week was NFLX. Just a few days ago, we purchased the weekly 435 calls for $1.67.
Despite being questioned on my price target, I was convinced that buyers would be aiming for $450 in the stock.
Those same calls were just booked for $14.75.
If you put $1,000 to work in this trade, you’d have 6 contracts ($1,002.).
That same trade was just booked for $8,850 off a $1,000 investment.
Leverage can be a double edged sword in options, but if you trade with the right position size, you can make big strides with less capital at risk per trade.

missed the original entry on the NFLX (holiday Monday up here) and lucked out getting in at $1.35 on Tuesday’s early dip – and then out at $13.75

Not liking this selling into the close
Me neither. I happened to jump in the TWTR 44.50’s too. Then LULU Sept calls hit. I get nervous when things hit too near one another. Usually a bad sign based on my track record.
We’ll gap up tomorrow, for all those that feel like they don’t like this close…causing you to chase up tomorrow, providing an opportunity to sell into you.

Part f the game – that is why I keep my position sizes small – good thing is that for TWTR there is strong support at 44 and that held. Assuming the market fundamentals are good, think there is a good chance for a bounce. Only looking to get a double out of this position – no need to get greedy on a yolo.
