As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I look a large position in SUNE shares, making this my second largest holding (12%) behind FSLR (15%).
Again, the short term price action and long term profile have come together in this ticker, proving a very thin runway for this stock to reach $35.
As we discussed in After Hours with Option Addict last night, I knew this stock would take off today, making yesterdays entry under $19.50 irresistible.

my spy puts are actually not down very much. im up big on NUGT calls and SUNE calls.
When vol leaves, the declines are shallow. I don’t think “the market” will be a good instrument to hedge for awhile.

Think about how many people doubt this rally. Then think about what happens when they doubt their timing or opinion. Then what happens when we get back to highs….
my AAPL october 630’s that i bought in the begining of the year are now in the money. Brightest position for me in a couple months.
now it’s dollar for dollar time on it’s move to $700.
holding an Oct 530 call, bought lots of time, and its almost a 200% return. Initial plan was to hold through 2 earnings, but with a great run…it is getting harder to hold even though its gravy with the dollar for dollar. If I’d have bought multiple options, it’d be easier to sell at least a little and let the rest ride.

That $SUNE call just solidifies that OA is back to full stock-picking swagger–or that he is now in possession of Fly’s time machine. I, like several others in AOWOA last night, thought the sensical move was to wait for better entry point. Technicals are one thing, but when OA is in his groove and says he “just really has a feeling” a stock is ready to take off…you hurry up and buy the shit out of that stock.

Was thinking about nasdaq puts as a hedge… but problem is the $COMPQ is at the right shoulder where as the QQQ is at new highs, what does this divergence mean?
short aapl which is the largest component by weight in the QQQs. Compx would b more accurate I would imagine.
