My favorite downside ideas are when I can see the general public holding hands and frolicking over a shared idea. Last time we did this was with Twitter, when all the Average Joe investors of the earth as well as financial “experts” all scoffed at the opportunity. As you know, I love sentiment as an indicator.
I’ve seen a stock over the last several months that has been actively mentioned, watched, and salivated over by many. I am asked about it often, despite my lack of enthusiasm to trade it. In other words, it is mentioned to me like it is a core position. This is why I am starting a position to bet against it in the short term.
The stock? $GOGO.
I have taken a bet in the January puts, with a target of $18. Thinking there’s a rug pull here soon.

tp, only you can make that call. Depends on if the amount is worth something to you or not. The odds of the calls appreciating are not good. FSLR essentially has to run 20% in 9 trading days now. Possible? Sure. Definitely not likely though. Jeff positions with the mentality that the call may go to zero. He is ok with that. If you are as well, then hold it. If not, close them and open up a February at some point this week (I wouldn’t do it today).

What about selling then rebuying your position? I sold my FSLR calls that GS dumped on for .42 and can buy them back for .25.
If I decide not to get back in, I have saved 40% of my premium. If I do get back in at .25, I generate 300% returns if the call returns to my initial entry point of $1 taking.
I’m talking about gains… i sold P this morning for +250%. It’s now at +500%. Honestly that bugs me more than my FSLR’s I sold this morning.

Now you never said don’t buy and in the end it was up to me, but your words persuaded me just enough not to take the trade. I only liked it though because it looked like one of your set ups… so I would have never looked at it in the first place if I wasn’t in the AHWOA service haha
