This means thousands of more pink slips; however it is not clear if this is in addition to the 3500 job cuts recently announced.

BOA wants no retail depositors, IMHO. I changed to a credit union and now experience customer service.
@Scavenger,
I’ve been with a credit union for years and in addition to customer service they have good rates on all types of loans.
I find BoA very difficult to do business with. State to state between BoA branches is like dealing with a foreign country. My little home town bank is much more customer friendly. For my personal stuff I use a credit union as well. They have no tax to pay, non-profit status. Which the bankers despise.
