ALL CLOSES WILL BE COLLAPSED FROM HERE ON FORTH

This tape is oppressive and the culprit is hope. You need to let go of it and accept the fact it is over. Bear witness to a great debacle each and every day — late stages America strewn with hedonism and depravity.

We had good times, laughed a lot over cold glasses of Chardonnay whilst showing off our latest wares taught to us by Madison Ave; but now it’s over — behind us. The end nears closes each and every day and you will soon bear witness to indescribable horrors, as markets descend into fiery pits of hell — as if God himself reached down from the heavens to sell short QQQ.

I am completely invested, even leveraged a bit, amply hedged and positioned in a way that might benefit from a conflagration. I am looking at shipping, commodities, long treasuries, short stocks, long gold, long defense contractors.

This trade expires in a fortnight.

The Ground is Now Set for War; General Fly is Prepared

I took the morning to think tank different scenarios and came up with a conclusive portfolio that should survive the pangs of nuclear destruction and/or a small and minor conflagration in the Ukraine. I have ceded my desire to buy “cheap SAAS” stocks in favor of military industrial complex scum, long bets on gold and commodities — rare earths and gold. I am a Merchant of Death now and it should amuse you to know — Mrs. Fly has in fact ordered a portrait of me dressed in Russian military attire.

The black dirt of the Ukraine will freeze over in a fortnight and UK’s defense sec will ferry her way to Moscow by Thursday, just ahead of the invasion to come.

From what I could gather vis a vie my intelligence network (Twitter), Russian forces have moved quickly to staging areas and personnel are now filling in to man all of that equipment that had been moved the past month. It is inevitable now and just a matter of time before war settles into the common narratives of the market and people get accustomed to all of the trimmings that come with it.

Energy crisis, supply chain disruptions, FX upheaval, Treasury havens and much much more.

Will stocks collapse on this news?

100% certain of it.

Moved to Cash; Switching to Defensive Posturing

Just before 10am I moved to 100% cash, based on recent Russian military maneuvers that suggests Putin’s forces are now in staging areas, very close to Ukraine, ready to invade. I am almost certain of two things.

1. Russia will attack Ukraine.
2. Markets will tumble on this news.

For me to ignore these core beliefs would be incredibly foolish. The issue at hand is timing and the ground peaks frozen in the Ukraine around mid-March. Russia also doesn’t want to keep all of those troops idle for too long, otherwise morale drops.

Today we have Macron in Moscow with an idea or two and then later on this week, perhaps Thursday, the UK will send their little people to discuss matters with Putin and then I suspect that’s it. The best case scenario is for the Ukraine to capitulate and cede to Russian demands, else they’re in for a lot of pain and misery. I don’t know why they thought inviting John McCain, Hunter Biden, and other American scum into their country would end well for them, even flirting with the idea of joining NATO. This is a ridiculous notion and now, sadly, the regular people of Ukraine will suffer because leadership got fat and greedy.

I have no doubt markets will drop on this news, so my posturing will include some energy longs, market shorts, and perhaps a blend of military stocks and staples.

NOTE: I am +165bps today, +3% for the month.

More later.

War is on the Horizon, Joe Rogan, and Much More

Back during the Cuban Missile crisis, which lasted 13 days, the world was on edge because Russia and the United States might nuke each other into dust. During that time, the S&P dropped 7% — but quickly recovered once Russia blinked.

In recent years American wars have led to soaring stocks — because nothing says capitalism better than renewed contracts at Lockheed, as we bomb people to shreds for the love of oil and country. But I suspect the coming Russian-Ukrainian war will be viewed differently, since we have zero chance at bullying Russia out of their own front yard and we can’t just fly sorties with our fucking CIA drone operators based out of Florida, indiscriminately killing people at weddings or yard sales because MUH terrorism.

As an aside, I must offer some context to my seething hatred of how my country is being governed. I never used to be this way. I was an utmost and dutiful patriot — tried to enlist in the Marines as a teen but was blocked by my mother — always thought well of my country and felt to my core our brand of government, democracy, was the single best thing to have been introduced to mankind.

Then after 9/11, I began to see things differently, or perhaps because I was maturing and saw through the bullshit. At first, I was very much onboard with American wars to avenge the deaths of my fellow NYers — but then the war and the grift took an an obscene nature and then the Patriot Act, which was passed to “protect” Americans, was used against Americans and then after Obama took office my country started to really divide its people amongst gender and race and now we have a situation that is so untenable and so severe, people hating one another over fucking vaccine status, I can honestly say that I do not care if this form of government exists in 10 years or not.

You cannot love something that hates you back and wants you dead. Ergo, I’ve spiritually and mentally written off my country as a loss — and I’m almost hateful at the idea that these people made me feel this way.

As for the market, it’s true people want to see it destroyed. Why? Because people view the market as corrupt and the symbol of everything that went wrong with America post 9/11 — rigged from the top down by the Federal Reserve without checks or balances — just rigged. We were only happy for it because we made money; but we all knew it was bullshit and the debt we kept piling up was, one day, going to destroy the nation. Perhaps that’s what THEY want, or maybe they’re just really fucking stupid. And we’re not alone in all this. It seems the west, in general, is on a similar path of decadence and perversion, eschewing traditional values in favor of demographic and spiritual warfare — all for the sake of the bottom line.

This whole Joe Rogan affair speaks volumes to what they want and what they will do to achieve their goals. They do not want Rogan around because he’s too popular and doesn’t tow the line close enough. Personally, I am not a Rogan fan because I think he’s neither too hot nor too cold. Nevertheless, he doesn’t conform with the new western ideals — feminism by any means necessary — war against those who reject modernism — war against any nation who opposes US doctrine. It started with COVID misinformation and now it has spilled into the holier than grail “N” word — a word that can be used by some but not all. These same people will gleefully and joyously toss your children into the meat grinder because of a 70 year vendetta against Russia and will tell you they were heroes for defending democracy in Ukraine — while stripping all of your freedoms and imposing their marxist ideals here at home to a new generation of tax paying sheep.

House Fly in Shambles — Final Edition

It’s just about over for me, this time for real. I sit here wallowing in my panned cakes listening to Mezzo Opera from 1938, reflecting upon my life as the butter melts slowly into the syrup. And then I remember that military equipment is en route from Russia to Ukraine and the United Steaks is in its final throes of doom — and it warms my blackened heart to reflect upon this, now with this being what could very well be my final days.

At House Fly I am the sole person left without COVID. Some people might chalk it up to a mere coincidence or genetic superiority. Whatever it may be, it is very possible that I will acquire the deadly virus called COVID-19; henceforth numbering my days where I come here to blog about my wins and my losses and hate on the world for molding me in its image.

It seems things are accelerating now and while you might not agree with my worldview, it’s fair to say we need a hard reset. Most would agree with that — a century or two of ruins and battle — neighbor versus neighbor — cannibalism running rampant throughout the malnourished countryside.

If this occurred with a paucity of happenings, I might feeeeeel glum about the whole ordeal. But what better way than to go out in nuclear dust storms of chards of metal, amidst the hot and feverish fires of damnation?

TECH CENSORSHIP AND DIVISIVENESS HITS NEW HIGHS: GOFUNDME STEALS $10M FROM CANADIAN TRUCKERS

This is simply unbelievable.

Donation website, GOFUNDME, owned by TCV and Accel partners have brazenly stolen nearly $10m earmarked and donated for the truckers in Canada who are risking their jobs in order to stand up against vaccine mandates. I know what you’re thinking “Come on Fly, they’re not stealing it. They’ll simply refund the people who donated.”

WRONG

In another tid bit of Friday news, I have bad news for all of you who thought SPOT was so based for “standing up” for Joe Rogan, who is by the way the most successful and profitable Podcaster on the planet. It seems they just rugged 70 of his episodes.

What’s the solution?

Well, sadly, we are in the process of divorcing one side from another based upon political ideals. As of now, the left is very rich and very powerful. This may not be the case in the future, although I wouldn’t bet against it. It seems the censorship is coming only from the left by only targeting the right, which has created a very dark and juvenile environment whereby losers are left in charge of public discourse. Just because you cannot debate and convince others that your opinions are right, that doesn’t mean you get to shut people up and demean them and dehumanize them.

The answer is to speak with your wallets and stop participating in their systems.

A Fine Day for Risk Assets: We Go Higher From Here

I closed the session heavily leveraged long, no hedges, based upon the notion (pardon me as I clear my throat) that stocks, as presently constituted, offer a unique opportunity for upside. Bear in mind, we are well aware of recency bias and understand the machinations of our resident BEARSHITTER, Citizen Squared, inside Stockslabs. But the data speaks for itself.

LOOK AT IT

The last time we gunned higher like this in SAAS we followed through for another 2 days. In the end, a person such as myself just needs 1 more day and 1 more trade to make everything all right.

BEHOLD as we race into the coldest and darkest time of the year and deploy icebreakers to bust loose and toss the women overboard to lighten the load as we speed towards victory. I will have you know, the good folks at iBankCoin and Stocklabs do not require vaccinations to join or to read, but will might ask the FAA to place you on a DO NOT FLY list if you get out of hand in the comments section. There was once a time when the comments section meant something — now everything is just discussed on Twitter or inside The Pelican Room. Alas, I keep blogging, even though my audience is aging and dying off from vaccine injuries.

Have a good weekend and stay tuned for more cartoons.

RUSSIAN MILITARY OFFENSIVE DELAYED; STOCKS FREE TO RAMP FOR AT LEAST A FORTNIGHT

The grounds are still muddy in Ukraine and PM Macron is heading to Moscow for discussions next week. Couple that with the advent of the olympics and it appears the DOOM of a Russian military offensive is delayed, for at least two weeks.

In the meantime, tech stocks are busting loose and everything is bid — thanks to stronger than expected NFP data coupled with the idea the economy might not be in shambles due to a slew of big tech earnings last night. While transient, I am in this for a short while, a good time, and have made preparations for profit.

This of course is opposite of the CATACLYSM I predicted just last night — but the numbers do not lie. People are working again and the Russian military is on pause (no homo), so I’m thinking now is as good a time as can be to own stocks — even in the face of higher rates.

SOARING INFLATION is bad, but not bad for commodity related stocks, so that is my focus.

Join us inside Stocklabs free for 7 days — zero fucking censorship — do and say whatever you please. I promise you there will be no blood sacrifices under my watch.

UPDATE: SODOM BASED GOFUNDME NO LONGER WILL STEAL THE MONEY BUT REFUND IT

We are automatically refunding your Freedom Convoy 2022 donation.

GoFundMe supports peaceful protests and we believe that was the intention of the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser when it was first created. However, as a result of multiple discussions with local law enforcement and police reports of violence and other unlawful activity, the Freedom Convoy fundraiser has been removed from the GoFundMe platform.

The update we issued earlier enabled all donors to get a refund and outlined a plan to distribute remaining funds to verified charities selected by the Freedom Convoy organizers. However, due to donor feedback, we are simplifying the process for you. We will automatically refund your contributions directly – you do not need to submit a request. You can expect to see your refund within 7-10 business days.

Jobs Numbers Too Strong; Inflation Runaway Train Now

This was good news!

  • Nonfarm payrolls rose 467,000 in January, well ahead of the 150,000 Wall Street estimate.

People were sanguine over the jobs numbers being too strong because they felt it would mean higher rates for the Fed. Well HELLO, what the fuck? Rates can’t stay at zero forever and if the economy is strong, well then, the case for stagflation is off the table, which means higher stocks.

I covered my shorts and sold down underperforming assets and bought some SAAS. I know you must think me to be a schizo, but the whole bear case was and is a weak economy. If that’s off the table, I’m bullish again.

Meanwhile, oil is on a runaway train and commodity related stocks are in play.
