HAPPY XMAS FROM LE FLY: SO JOYOUS AND FESTIVE

On this Xmas 2017, I bestow upon you the 12 top stocks of Exodus. This information is potentially worth many billions of dollars and instead of attempting to sell them, I’ve generously decided to simply give them away for free.

1. WLL
2. MTRX
3. PTSI
4. CERC
5. ARGX
6. INSM
7. ADMS
8. TLRD
9. VNCE
10. GRVY
11. BLPH
12. KURA

In the event that you lose billions of dollars in the above names, Le Fly is not responsible for your reckless behavior and actions. Plus anyway, don’t you have Xmas festivities to partake in, wine to ingest, disgusting rotting flesh to devour?

I’ve completed most of my XMAS shopping and will only need to spend 2-3 more hours at the local mall tomorrow. How lucky am I? I went to the King of Prussia mall today in Pennsylvania and let me tell you — it was a special sort of dream in there — absolutely wonderful, absolutely. Let me tell you, believe me. I got to loaf around the wide expansive establishment, spending THOUSANDS of dollars at Nordstrom, Gucci and wherever else I was directed to insert my debit card. It was so glorious. I only wish fucking Satan Claus came twice, maybe three times, per annum.

Don’t you hear that folks? That’s Satan’s elves working around the clock to bring your fucking presents down your filthy chimney. I wonder how many lives Santa saves each and every year wedging his fat ass down rotten chimneys, saving people from carbon monoxide poisoning?

Well, it’s only 5:40am now and I really need to be going now. I have to hop in the shower and then take a 4 hour nap, wake up, drive to the local mall, and shop until I literally drop.

PS: How drunk was Dean Martin when he recorded this song?

Carter Braxton Worth: ‘This Pullback in Bitcoin is Remarkably Uniformed’

Straight from his winter cottage in Lenox, MA — Carter Braxton Worth journeyed down to the peasant CNBC offices in NYC to bestow upon them great magnanimous gifts of technical analysis — this time in the form of Bitcoin.

Carter got right down to business, as is always the case with his sojourns in communicating with average working citizens.

The recent pullback is pedestrian, a very common pattern in the short history of Bitcoin drawdowns. It is ‘remarkably uniformed’ said the festively seasoned Carter Braxton. Mr. Worth grandly summarized his analysis by asking his viewers to idly toss a thousand bucks into it here, ‘maybe more.’

Bitcoin Fever is Back, Just in Time for Christmas

From the canard himself: people were merely blowing out to buy pointless Xmas gifts.

Meanwhile, cryptos are raging higher again and I’m sure this will result in a gargantuan rally in crypto proxies. I have just two left on my books, which means that I have to buy MOAR. Nevertheless, behold this Xmas eve eve rally in cryptos.

BTC is above 15k again, Ethereum is around $750, and Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin are shooting through the roof, higher by 20% and 13%, respectively.

Total market cap is $588 billion, a stone’s throw from record highs of ~$650 billion.

These were the biggest proxy losers during yesterday’s trade.

NETE -23%
NXTDW -21%
DPW -15%
PYDS -14%
GROW -14%
LFIN -13%
LTEA -12%
OTIV -11%
NVFY -11%
RIOT -10%
SIEB -10%
SRAX -9%

The top technically rated crypto proxy stock in Exodus is NXTD, which was higher by 13% on Friday, followed by NVFY and OSTK.

Fly Buy: $QD

Chinese lending bullshit stock LX is up more than 30% today, an aggressive move on an otherwise moribund day. Digging through the dirt like I do, I found another one that does the almost the same shit. Stock is down massively since IPOing, so I stepped in and bought it, hoping for a wave.

I bought QD near $13, hoping for a 500% move over the next hour — but I’ll also take 10%.

Change of Heart: Blew Out of Most of my Crypto Proxies

Reason being: I can always get back in. Plus, I’m not strategically placed any longer and a few of these names didn’t do well during the run up, so it makes no sense to hold them now.

I sold FH, GCAP, PYDS, QIWI.

My only proxy longs now are GSUM and NXTPW, the latter being a very small novelty position.

It was a fine run and I made over 100% on my money the past two weeks, scoring one monster runner after the next. I will get back in when the upside swings return.

For now, the only thing I like is gold via GLD and JNUG.

Trump’s Tax Bill May Be Reason for Crypto Rout

Let’s be clear. The American market for Bitcoin is an aspirational one; but the true volume is done in Asia. Instead of going through the trouble of setting up shell corporations to launder their money, the Chinese have been using crypto currencies, which was beautifully marketed as some sort of rebellious form of capitalism — creating millions of bedroom billionaires.

All of that might be ending soon, thanks in part of President Trump.

He’s gonna sick the IRS hard on your asses — tossing evil tax evaders into ass-raping prisons.

Bloomberg:

New limits in the bill would bar cryptocurrency owners from deferring capital gains taxes when trading one type of virtual currency for another — effectively closing a gray area in the tax code, experts say.

Those gains can be considerable. Bitcoin, which had an initial price of less than 1 cent when it first traded in 2010, was around $1,000 as 2017 began and surpassed $19,000 this week, at least briefly, before paring some of the gains. Many enthusiasts jump between bitcoin and a long list of similarly volatile competitors, such as ether.

For investors who hold the virtual currencies, “the bill is bad news,” said Kelsey Lemaster, a tax attorney with Goodwin Procter LLP. “Every time you trade one digital currency for another, one token for another, it’s going to be a taxable event.”

The change might not deter traders, who have been leaping into cryptocurrencies without researching what they are — let alone their tax implications, said Brian Kristiansen, a partner in the digital currency services practice at Friedman LLP.

Under current law, Bitcoiners have been protected under the ‘like-kind exchanges’, swapping one investment for another, notably Ethereum. That shit ain’t gonna fly in 2018. You’re gonna get taxed out.

The change goes into effect January 1st.

Bitcoin is off by 7,000 points from recent record highs, trading at $12,500.

Blew Out of Quant Portfolio, Wrapping Up the Year, Diving into Gold

Fun fact for you stock junkies: gold does best in the month of January. I bet you didn’t know that. Good thing Exodus is armed with a seasonality engine. More than seasonality, bitcoiners have taken aim at Gold, declaring it to be a stupid asset class that should be replaced by them — the Digital Nerds.

Now with Bitcoin in shambles, totally ruined, the revenge of the gold bugs is at hand. As such, in my discretionary account, I bought some JNUG.

Also, I sold out of my quant portfolio today and only kept GLD, which is a 10% weighting after today’s additional purchase. All in all, my quantitative strategy was a magnamimous success in 2017. For 2018, I will adjust the portfolios once per month and then eventually once per quarter, in order to best align with reasonable churn rates.

I have a few irons in the fire today, dealing with COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT. Other than that, I’m in a good mood. I try to keep myself in a positive state of mind — because brooding and turning savage comes so natural to me. There’s nothing more detestable than spending my days inside shopping malls buying inane shit. Alas, this is America and Coca-Cola invented Santa Claus in order to truly destroy this country. The only redeemable thing about Xmas is the music, decorations, and the joy of seeing your kids appreciate their presents. However, when they do not appreciate their presents, why, sometimes I wish Krampus would take them away for a brief stroll.

CRYPTASTROPHE!

Markets are applying maximum levels of hurt to the crypto space right now, just a few days after the CME and CBOE opened up futures contracts on the awesome currency. You fuckers have no idea what you did, letting the bastards from Wall Street into your den. You’re all zebras, ‘bedroom billionaires’, playing making believe with your birthday money and maxed out credit cards. The institutions of Wall Street have unlimited resources and will now build exotic derivatives that could be levered 50 times to fuck you every way but loose.

Your hubris allowed you to believe that Wall Street could not phase you.

Say that now.

The Bitcoin ETF, GBTC, is now down 65% over the past 3 days.

I’m taking a bruising on some of my proxies, but my level of involvement has been greatly reduced, as I’ve been taking immense amounts of profits the past week. Just yesterday, I booked a 344% gain in NXTD, which is the only proxy play up today.

Across the board, there are 10-20% losses in the crypto-proxy space. I am tempted to sell out of the few I am long, fearing this Bitcoin crash will have immense ripple effects. After all, there is maximum amounts of damage being done now — coming off from a crypto market cap of $650 billion — now reduced to a little more than $400 billion. The tops always attract the most people and all but negates any gains enjoyed in the sector over the past year. There have never been more people exposed to cryptos than now. There $250 billion loss in wealth is more than double the entire crypto space at the beginning of the year.

Think about that.

Nevertheless, this is a new asset class that has proven to be resilient. Since my exposure isn’t too great and most of my money secure in my Quant strategy, I am willing to wait until next week to decide what to do with GSUM, NXTDW, QIWI, PYDS and FH.

CRYPTOS CRASH UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THEIR OWN HUBRIS

UPDATE: Losses accelerate.

Equity larpers might be cavorting in the most disgusting names since Pompeii listed ‘The Volcano clean-up Recovery Company’ — but at least they can sell when shares drop. Right now the entire crypto-fag sector is being bludgeoned, just in time for Goldman to open up a BTC trading desk — which I am certain will be used to rig the price of cryptos.

As the evening wears on and Bitcoin nerds sweat profusely in their basements watching their net worths wither away to nothing, Dow futures are +55.

I cannot stress enough how deleterious this decline is for the crypto sector. Let’s have a look, shall we?

Bitcoin -14%
Ethereum -13%
Ripple +31%
Bitcoin Cash -24%
Litecoin -11%
Cardano -14%
Ioata -26%

Total market cap is down to just $550 billion, off by nearly $100 billion from the tops.

Is this decline any different from the others?

Yes. The drop is from all time record highs, which means the amount of capital being destroyed is at a zenith. Ergo, all of the new investors are getting shoveled quickly into shallow graves.

This may in effect offer a unique opportunity for crypto stocks during tomorrow’s inevitable pullback. We’ve all gotten fat and rich off them in recent days. It may be time to give a little back, soak the tree of prosperity with the blood of the weak and the poor.
