Trumps Fires Another Salvo at China Over N. Korean Nuclear Missile Program

All is well on the street of Wall. Dow futures are higher by 65, the NASDAQ +19, and Trump is firing tweets deriding China for all the world to see — designed to shame them. Word has it that the government of China now enjoys to be shamed in public by Trump. They view any publicity as good publicity for their bedraggled wares produced in slave camps.

In short, N. Korea will never get ICBMs and China is ravaging us in trade, but not helping us stop N. Korea from acquiring missile technology that will one day wipe out Portland and San Francisco.

Gamblers Gone Mad: Macau Revenues +8% for December

Macau is back, according to recent reports. For the fifth consecutive month, gross gaming in Macau rose by 8% to $2.48b for December — according to Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau. Revenues had risen by 14.4% in November.

For the year, however, sales declined by 3.5% — following an astonishing 34.3% drop in 2015.

Analysts are now expecting a 7% lift in revenues for 2017.

“We continue to believe that while the market is stabilizing, we won’t see a v-shaped recovery like we did in 2010 and 2013,” Wells Fargo Securities’ Cameron McKnight wrote in a note before the release. The analyst cited macroeconomic and policy as among the risks facing Macau in the near term, along with new supply of casinos being planned by operators.

Casio stocks have risen sharply in recent months, pricing in an eventual rebound in Macau. Shares of $LVS are higher by 28% over the past year, followed by $WYNN +27% and $MGM +27%.

European Markets Surge, Dollar Rises, Bitcoin Breaks 1,000

Happy New Year.

Twenty seventeen has started off with more of the same. European markets are surging ahead, led by the DAX and FTSE MIB. The dollar is higher by 0.5% v the euro and bitcoins broke 1,000 to the upside — making the Vinklevoss twins very happy assholes to start the new year.

One notable laggard is Brazil’s Bovespa index, currently off by 1%.

The first week of January is very important, as it sets the tone for the year. So far, so good.

Mariah Carey and Idiot Don Lemon Humiliate Themselves During New Year’s Eve Festivities

These were two final sacrifices of 2016 — one where a once famed singer blew up on stage and didn’t bother to sing her own songs before storming off in what appeared to the beginnings of tears — and another when libtard CNN anchor, Don Lemon, was seen on teevee drunk, offering to take his shirt off for a nipple piercing, only to later get an old fashioned needle through the ear for all the world to cringe over.

Mariah’s death on stage meltdown.

Fifty-year-old Drunken Don Lemon making a fool out of himself on New Year’s eve.

I hope all of you had better New Year’s celebrations than the two featured above.
