The Never-ending Melt-Up

No fear, no tears. We aren’t in any mortal threat, aside from a pandemic that is as sweet as pie to people younger than 70. For 2020, business has boomed and stock trading has been unbelievably accommodative. Dare I say, 2020 has been my best year yet?

The truth of the matter is, we’re in a unique period of time filled with technological innovation, which as a result of these new luxurious modes of living — has paved and given way to a brand of hedonism that screams out from the rooftops that we’re nearing or at a top of this cycle. That of course would be narcissistic to believe and I am more of the mind to see and wait things out before making such declarative statements. I will tell you, with all of my heart and vigor, that I intend to trade through the apocalypse again, profiting off the misery and downtroddeness of others.

But for now, all of us get to bask in the warmth of the Federal Reserve’s sun — even the TikTok investors who stumble and trip through their own stupidity en route to their Robinhood accounts.

Everything is up. Everyone is rich. Everyone rejoice!

I am up 270bps intra-day, preparing to fish.

Got a call from the 312 area code earlier. (The most important calls for me are from 202, 212, and 312. I always answer those.)

It’s the owner of one of the FCMs that I trade with checking in. He stays in touch with the high-volume traders who keep his business going. The commish from us add up quick.

Essentially every big trader is still holding.

The market ran out of fear. There is nothing to fear. Not even fear itself.

No, he didn’t arouse me that way.

Spending way too much time with my fiancee was one of the biggest upsides of this autistic year.
