Trump Announces New Sanctions for Iran; Calls for a “Deal with Iran”

“Iran can be a great country” was Trump’s response to Iran’s foray into missile fun last night. He’s calling for another deal with Iran, in a speech that can only be viewed as conciliatory.

It’s over. World War 3 has ended.

The Dow is spearing ahead. WTI hammered into the fucking dirt, off by 3.6%.

This is good news, but let’s be clear: the US killed what many says is Iran’s 2nd most respected person – and Iran did virtually nothing in response

Also, Iran has openly attacked a US base ( symboliccaly – based on the damage,) but Trump is doing nothing in response (there really isn’t anything left to “sanction” unless China, Russia, and or the EU change their possiitons).

Iran also seems to have accidentally shot down a plane with 186 people, but again no Americans werer hurt, so they will liekly get away with it just like Russia did with the Malaysian airline over Ukraine.

Question: Is Trump’s based satisfied with the non-response?

Yes, because no one died. The reason no one died: Iraqi prime minister’s office said it received verbal notice from Iran before the strike and the US got a warning from Iraq. This is very simialr to the US missile attack on Syrian bases, in which the Russains were forewarned and passed that on to Assad. No one wants a Middle East war except for compelte morons. Trump has enough military baby-sitters to prevent this.

So again the real question: are Sulemein’s follower’s satisfied with the response? I don’t know, but suspect that – just like Trump surporters – they will listen to wahtever their god on earth says.

Also, TSLA is up again. Obvious hard ceiling at $500 means this is proabably the peak.

“What a difference a presidential decision can make.

Two months ago, crowds were in the streets of Iraq protesting Iran’s dominance of their politics. Crowds were in the streets of Iran cursing that regime for squandering the nation’s resources on imperial adventures in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen. Things were going America’s way.

Now it is the Americans who are the targets of protests.

Over three days, crowds numbering in the hundreds of thousands and even millions have packed Iraqi and Iranian streets and squares to pay tribute to Soleimani and to curse the Americans who killed him.” -Pat Buchanan-

Trump got lucky in that the missiles didn’t kill anyone and he was able to back down from the brink. Notwithstanding that, he remains moron and a traitorous tool of the Netanyahu lobby.

    China trade deal news:

The unofficail Chinese state newspaper said on Monday:
“[I]t is apparent that there are still some final details to be worked out. For example, US officials have unilaterally disclosed information, such as the amount of China’s purchases of US products, and the date and location for the signing ceremony.

Chinese officials have not publicly confirmed any of this information.”

    On Tuesday:
“A Chinese delegation will likely travel to Washington next week to sign the agreement, experts said. However, specific dates for the delegation’s departure and the signing ceremony are unclear.

Han Jun, vice minister for agriculture and rural affairs, said last weekthat China will not adjust low-tariff quotas for corn, wheat and rice imports for any individual country, Chinese financial news outlet Caixin reported on Tuesday.”

The Art of the Deal: Trump has already annoucned a date and contents: he’ll look weak if the Chinese move the date even one week, or if they don’t match the publcily stated quotas.

POTUS would love to get a deal like JCPOA from Iran. Just change the letters like the new NAFTA agreement and declare victory
