Try $6500. Basically first $10k per year is out of pocket if you count premiums. So about a third of the average person’s income. Makes sense.
I haven’t read anything about how this legislation.. which of course wont be passed as is by the Senate..will impact the average person’s premium. Of course, there is no average person when it comes to medical care. All it takes is one member of a family to have a medical crisis and savings can be obliterated. Regulation of drug prices and medical devices would be great. But it can’t happen in this Right Wing country where so many people vote Republican, and Republicans Congress folks always vote for the crony capitalist welfare queen companies to feed more and more at the public trough. And some of the Blue Dog Dems do too.
