$MDLZ Makes Bid for Iconic $HSY; Shares Explode to Record Highs

WSJ is reporting that Mondelez will make an offer to bid for Hershey’s. On that news, shares of HSY have exploded to the upside.

For the love of God, should the Hershey board accept the proposal, please get rid of that awful name–Mondelez. What a wretched name it is indeed. This deal pays for itself, just to change that fucking name. Plus, the execs at MDLZ will get to ride the roller coasters for free at Hershey Park.

    If the deal falls apart I predict a lot of shareholders with Hershey squirts and skid marks.
