Mayo: Bank Balance Sheets Are the Most Resilient in Decades

Famed banking analyst, M. Mayo, took B. Gross to task today, proclaiming the banks are more resilient now than in decades. More importantly, he likens them to a ‘coiled spring’, ready to pounce higher should anything in the broader economy improve.

    I was stunned a couple of weeks ago when he boosted JPM. The guy and Dimon have been at each other’s throats for about a decade. Love me some Mayo. I should buy more BX but I am already long.
