I’m Stupid For Buying Today

The moment I saw this,
I shrieked with agony. I was confounded how a man who makes a living playing it safe, with regular positions of both equal longs versus shorts could put himself out there, in an exhibition of extreme zealotry,  announcing a net +5 long position. It was something that not only shocked, but appalled me. That’s like being long 12 Microsofts, while only short just 7 DELLs. Frankly speaking, it was a bit too much to bear, a burden too heavy for even “The Fly” to carry.

To think that I had just purchased the most retarded stock in over 2 centuries of commerce (SNE) on the same day that such a conservative man of means and #timestamp took on such enormous risk was so troubling for me that I went home to drink a shandy, maybe two.

In other news, Japan is sharply to the upside this evening and gold and silver are attending the homosexual opera. I hope you all sleep well and make great efforts to reduce your equity exposure first thing tomorrow morning.

I know I will be there selling.

Both Silver and Solar Have One Thing in Common

They are retarded in their own rights.

As an industry, solar is now up 12% for the day, likely due to some government mandate to affix solar panels to all fire trucks.

Conversely, silver is down about 3% as an industry on false rumors and propaganda that the Fed might end QE infinity sometime 2013. If people would think for a moment and realize it’s virtually impossible for the unemployment rate to fall below 6.5%, they’d hold onto their gold/silver stocks.

EXK is a buy down here and SPWR is a sell.

Only Gentlemen and Warriors Buy Japanese Stocks

I stepped in and bought a retarded company named Sony. Back in the 1970’s and 1980’s they made cool electronics. Now they make shit that no one likes, partly thanks to the patent infringers over at AAPL. Nonetheless, I try to comport myself as a gentlemen at all times, even when I am cussing like a savage animal. Therefore, I’ve purchased shares of SNE, not for sentimental purposes, but for gratuitous profit.

A sinking Yen raises all Japanese boats. It’s only a matter of time before the Yen sinks again and when it does SAMURAI HORATIO will be there to profit.

VHC is moving up. Rest assured, the 100 share bandits will be at it again near the close. There are few things that I desire in this world, mostly due to being grateful for what I already have. But, I’d love for the short sellers of VHC to die–all of them. I’d like them to contract odd forms of incurable cancer, but die quickly instead of slow. I’d prefer that they be run over by trains, planes and automobiles, even if that meant that I’d have to endure traffic jams and flight delays.

Clearly, the cabal of short sellers have gotten to me. Its made me a bit paranoid and psychotic. But don’t let that dissuade you from investing in such a fine company. By the end of the day, when it’s decidedly lower, I will rant about how much I’d like the CEO and its managers to be fed to carnivorous elephants; but you must ignore my impertinence. “The Fly” knows his place and it is above you.

JRCC is trading up and I am advancing by another 0.6% today.

Who’s Ready For a Debt Ceiling Crisis?

Early rumblings suggest there will be a new crisis by March, as the republicanus and dummocratis prepare for ‘Battle Retard.’ Also, most economists are predicting very weak economic growth for 2013, ranging from 0.00 to 1.5%. Scott Bleier has been saying ‘We Are Japan’ for years. I reckon he is correct.

Speaking of Japan, the yen is stronger today, so Japanese stocks are on sale. I am a buyer of HMC on dips and will continue to do so until the stock hits my price target of $45.

If the market is serious about going higher, it will not give back too much today. We’re more likely to see a moderate pullback, then another leg higher. That being said, don’t think this market isn’t capable of being truly idiotic–whipsawing novice investors into bankruptcy filings.

For now, however, we must remain bullish until price action says otherwise.

Top pick: JRCC

Manipulation Taking Place in the Shares of $VHC

There is a group of people purposely manipulating the share price of VHC lower, using an already illiquid stock as a piggy bank by sending it lower with a flurry of 100 share orders. Regularly, I don’t make a big deal about stock manipulation because it’s part of the game. But this is too much to ignore and feel like exposing some people.

Should you know the names of the people who are doing this, feel free to email me at Flybroker at gmail.com or leave a comment.

Ultimately, they’re going to lose in grotesque fashion. In the meantime, I intend to find out who is doing it and make life difficult for them.

93% of Stocks Are Up Today

If you have the unfortunate fate of owning a stock that is down today, you are starkly in the minority of only 7%. In other words, you’re part of an elite group of individuals, cursed from the top down, an investor extraordinaire of magnanimous and stupid occasion.

I’ll spare you the details of why or how this rally will fail and everyone buying today is a sucker. The fact is, stocks are up, so be happy about it and rejoice. There are many things that are imperfect about the economy and the market; but today’s isn’t one of them.

Today is a hugely important day in the big scheme of things. We’re either topping out now or about to embark on a new journey much, much higher. It’s not often that we get to enjoy 93% up days and when they happen it usually means something good has taken place. Our elected officials, as perverted and drug addled as they are, managed to strike a deal. It’s not the best deal, but at least it made Grover Norquist soil his pajamas.

I’m up more than 2% today, a terrific start of the new year and feel fortunate that I didn’t listen to the devils on Twitter who were so gallantly long FAZ an TZA into today’s “fuck you, you’re dead” trading session.

My top 3 positions are VHC, HMC and EXK. I own other stocks too, such as JRCC, AAPL, RS and FB. But my destiny, if there is such a thing, lies between the brief(ed) case of an aggressive barrister and the alloy of a katana.

I added to my VHC position because I’m fucking nuts.

A Red Hot Market Can Scald You

This market is on fire, so much so The PPT just registered its highest overbought reading ever. It remains to be seen if the score is a precursor to a significant top. But one thing is for certain: if you played this rally perfectly, reward yourself by taking some profits.

The first week of January is the most important trading week of the year. It sets the tone and everyone pays attention. Nevertheless, you’d have to be an idiot not to lock in some profits here.

As for me, I went into today with underwater positions, with investment time frames of beyond short term. I added to my HMC position first thing this morning, emails were sent out to PPT members, when the stock was up 65 cents. I’m not selling because I don’t think the stock is going higher; I know it is.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the year of the samurai, the year Japan kicks China in the face and cuts off the heads of overzealous Koreans because it’s fashionable. The yen is falling rather freely, which helps exporters dramatically. For the entirety of 2012, I am bullish on HMC, TM, NMR and MFG. Long shot plays that can do well too include SNE, CAJ and PC.

With today’s purchases, I am down to 25% cash.
