You know that number is such a joke, In 2008/2009 we had massive lay offs. Since then so many companies make numbers by cutting cost and not hiring. Yet, the numbers of New Claims have to get better cuz you have to have been working and let go to file, (smaller pool of beneficiaries), Plus, all those on old Claims have maxed out. So numbers always will get better over time. Besides, Weekly New Claims, the NFP data is collected in such a messy way with huge revisions each month, I can’t believe anyone even trust it…let alone, act on it…oh well.
