This Commercial is Bound to Put a Dent into $AAPL

I’ve been seeing this commercial non-stop and it’s brilliant marketing, pointing to the fact that the Samsung Galaxy is indeed waterproof.

SHAME on the House of Jobs for falling behind the curve so badly. If Steve was alive today, I am sure he’d kill Tim Cook immediately after watching this commercial.

My favorite way to play the Samsung juggernaut is via IMMR. Say haptics.

50% premium for this = niche. Clearly beyond the teen budget. More likely to cannibalize S4 sales than convert Jobs fanboi.

Read online from a ATT rep that is exactly what is going on. People are choosing this over a regular S4.

The tape is AAPL last year. Look at a chart. Just need to make a new high on the SPY then die hard.

Sony had similar ads for their waterproof tablet last year, still haven’t seen one anywhere other than on TV.

Try a Samsung for a day and you will likely run back to an iPhone and iOS. It’s cheap plastic junk for lower income users and geek techies. Apple still rules the upper middle and upper class. Secondly look at data usage, iOS devices dominate even though there are more droid phones out there. Why? Because a lot of the cheapest junk out there runs on android it and the users are clueless and can barely surf the web, but they are still counted.
