This will spread and the result will be Europeans killing each other again before 2014 is out.
      They know no other way.
You think the average German is going to peacefully allow their life savings to be absconded with in order to prop failing banks?
TBTF is going to face the ultimate test soon and the result will chart the course of democracy worldwide for generations to come.

If Cypress goes through with the aotomatic taxes on bank deposits, who in their right mind would continue leaving their money in their banks? This should lead to the collapse of Cypress’ banking system.
There is no reason to believe that this could not spread to some of the weaker EU countries such as Greece itself, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Italy.
Cypress banks are closed on Monday and there is talk about being closed Tuesday and even possibly Wednesday. This is going to rattle investors.
    Should be interesting next week.

nice to e long the dollar. and add to my short the euro although jeez by the time we open how low will it be. intersting to see how gold reacts. luckily i bought some vxx near the bottom; could be the 2nd lucky grab this year on that evil VXX bastard. and got in on UUP b4 Bernie first spooked the market. risk off it appears – although i’m not sure i’ll be looking to bottom grab anything – perhaps real esatte if she craters at all – on monday. unless we get some crazy 2% plus move. anyhow, should be fun. my saint patty’s evening is over – gonna have to get up premarket fro this show. so much for drowning my sorrowsa over the Gator tourney loss. time to hit the ambien. 🙁 perhpas when i awake they’ll be saying who gives a sh** about Cyprus.
