Except that it is predictable, tonight is an astronomical black swan event. The first total lunar eclipse on the Winter Solstice in 372 years! The last one was on December 21, 1638

Not to pick on you, but I’m beginning to get tired of the term “black swan”.
It used to mean something highly specific — an event that was an unpredictable anomaly — and is now used to describe anything unusual. People now use it in the markets to describe any dramatic news-making event. “Cisco missed earnings — it’s a Black Swan!” Even worse is when people predict an impending Black Swan, when by definition, if you can predict it, it can’t be one.
Sure feels exactly like every other Santa Claus rally… Slow grind forward over next two weeks.
